Why are you playing that half-idol on Revali? Where do you think the votes are currently, and who do you expect to go home? Do you plan on playing any of your other items?

I decided to play it on him because, at the end of the day, I know Revali leaving is the absolute WORST outcome of this vote for my personal game. The more I thought about it, the more I realized the potential benefits of sending him to the Jury to lobby on my behalf were significantly overshadowed by the benefits of keeping him in the game and, if I am lucky, sitting next to him at FTC.
Mipha tipped me off that Kohga and Revali are likely voting for me at the moment. Epona was on board with voting Mipha (it felt like low-hanging fruit to suggest Mipha to them to keep the vote off Revali), but I don't know if that's how they are actually voting.
Ultimately, my goal here is to confuse Kohga and Epona enough to force some errors. I "let slip" that I didn't think idols may be as big of a factor this vote as originally thought. This caused Kohga to admittedly take a step back, and it seems he has expressed concerns to Epona and Mipha that I have multiple idols and could therefore make everyone safe. I'm not going to confirm or deny that, as if it keeps him from playing his idol on anyone then that opens up more opportunities for me this round to keep Revali in and to also sow a bit of distrust. He evidently reached out to both Mipha and Revali to let them know he'd consider using the idol to protect them, walked it back, and is now straddling the fence again. That won't be forgotten by either of them if they end up on the Jury.
I want Epona to go this round. Do I necessarily expect that to happen? Perhaps not, but I'm considering also playing the Remote Bomb on Epona to make her vulnerable and Urbosa's Fury on Revali just to ensure that if votes DO go his way I can either force a tie or get someone out that isn't him.

Another thing to ponder: Epona suggested Kohga worried I had an extra vote. This could be Kohga trying to throw us all off his scent, but if Sidon didn't give Mipha's Grace to him, then it's possible Epona has it. After that tantrum, I don't believe Sidon would give it to Mipha or Revali. I can see Sidon passing it to Epona just to spite everyone else for ousting him.

TLDR: I have been at this for a solid day now. I don't want to push too hard for fear of coming off too aggressively, BUT hopefully they will see Epona as the path that keeps them both in the game. Self-preservation is the most powerful motivator, it seems -- just ask Sidon.

You are as lively as you are lovely <3 You are also the only person to consistently keep up the sweet heart routine with me and I appreciate it lol. I'm done trying to convince people of anything at this point. Kohga may play his idol on me. Epona seems to be voting Revali? You and I are voting Epona? If Revali/Kohga is voting there too then half idol stuff shouldn't matter. Kohga was being super sketch about the wording of the half idol though and I don't know why. Biggest takeaway with this is perhaps my read on Epona's vote was correct. Of course, Epona would tell Mipha they were voting for Revali if the vote was actually Mipha, but I don't want to risk it. At this point, I've done all I can to warm Kohga, Mipha, and Revali up to an Epona vote. Inherently, there is a lot of skepticism this round because of the potential for items screwing everything up. Still having second thoughts about pushing Epona here. At the end of the day, this ultimately comes down to me not believing Epona and a combination of Kohga, Revali, and/or Mipha would be willing to go to a 2-2 tie at F4. Epona says they would, but when push comes to shove is that true? If Kohga hadn't won immunity here and I could have made a move to send him to the Jury, then things would be VASTLY different here. Dealing with one of them is stressful enough. Finding myself in a situation where both potentially make it to FTC is my worst nightmare. Ultimately, if the goal is to sit with Revali and Mipha, I need to focus on the things I can control this round and then plan accordingly afterward. I'm fully prepared to end up on the Jury having given it my all.

I think what frustrates me most about the past few rounds has been the collective response of: "Well, I would have happily worked with you more closely had you not reached the point of no return with challenge wins. Your points are spot on and you've not led me astray in this game, but I can't beat you and thus can't talk strategy."
Like, Revali would rather walk into an idol than vote to secure himself?
That's not to say I'm just going to give up on talking things through with Kohga and Revali (as I'd prefer not to use as many items if I can avoid it), but this has essentially plagued me since Kass left. Even Oven was openly entertaining other routes forward because he didn't see a legitimate path forward with my win count so high. Short of throwing, I don't know what could have helped on that front. Can't very much fall back on a social game if no one wants anything to do with you after a certain point.

If I go, then I go. I'm over all of this.

(1) I didn't want to crush Epona more than I already have. Burying someone while playing four items just felt wrong.
(2) I didn't want players to have yet another reason to tell me I coasted to the end. Sure, I still played items, but maybe they will respect it a bit more here if I got the votes on my side without operating behind a wall of immunity.
(3) I honestly don't mind if I get voted out here. After so many people have told me my game is shit and that I won't about to much at the end, I really don't have the mental capital to continue arguing against that. My social game is bad? Okay, it was decent up until I fell into a challenge streak -- I came into the first Merge as the "social queen." People don't want to work with me and have no intention of taking me to the end? Fine, but I'm going to keep making moves until I'm not here. Yes, Epona was a better shield, but there's no guarantee they would have voted with me. No one left would keep me if given the choice -- even potentially against Epona. I've felt isolated for so many rounds now, yet I have tried to stay positive through it all. The light at the end of the tunnel may be a Divine Beast, but at least it will descend one way or another.

I could play advantages just right, set up moves round in advance and execute them, win challenges, get called a "sweet heart" and a "delight," but if no one wants to work with me because the five individual immunity wins, then I don't know what else to say. Did anyone call Ozzy trash? Terry? Joe? I actively chose to not nuke Kass out of a sense of mutual respect, though I guess I probably should have just so there's yet another reason to hate on my play during and after the game.
