I mean the votes were being split exactly so that would happen. It's better than idoling out yourself, which according to Mipha she almost did.
If she had come online earlier, she might have had a chance to rally against Sidon so that he would have been the one idoled out. Oven says he would have done it and I imagine Oaki and Mipha would have too. This was a missed opportunity for the bottom-feeders to rally.

Yeah she clearly didn't have the pull she needed to actually make that happen or to know who to go to.
And in fact, it seems like that prompted Urbosa to change her vote away from Patricia to Mipha, which was the opposite of the desired effect.
