Oaki got voted out (fuckin RIP, maybe the person I liked talking to the most) and now RWH is saying he doesn't want to vote Riju. I'm kind of wondering whether that was even really on the table to begin with. Hunnie says Riju was kind of hinting at me as a vote, and Riju just reached out to me to get my thoughts on the tribe. Honestly this is tiring, I don't really want to work with either Riju or RWH at this point, and I'm sure they're going to use the whole "ooh so many Wisdom people still in the game" bullshit to try to sway Kass, but it's so dumb. Like we went to one unanimous vote and have been largely separated for the majority of the game, what are we going to do, seriously come back together post-merge? Come on.
Anyway I was right the first time, everything's shit.

Saas’ Saasy Solicitations
Hello there! It’s been a bit since we last spoke. Did you miss me? You know you did. I’ve been busy shrining it up (and saasing it up of course) and you’ve been busy playing, so it’s time for you to answer my most pressing questions.
1. What is your reaction to Oaki’s elimination? Does it change anything for you?
2. Who are you most worried for on the other tribes this TC? Who would you like to see the other tribes eliminate?
3. What do you want to see happen this TC and why? On a scale of 1-100, how confident are you that the votes will go the way you want them to?
4. Are you thinking about merge at this point? What groups do you see coming together at merge, and what is your plan to navigate them?
5. If you could ritualistically sacrifice one person in the game in order to resurrect one dead player, who would you choose to sacrifice and who would you choose to bring back? Why?
That's all for now! Try not to die before my next solicitations!

Oh hey actually everything's not shit! I might even stick to that opinion for 24 hours!
So I actually connected well with Kass today. I honestly didn't really know where I stood with him, I knew he was not crazy about Riju but I was still feeling nervous. Luckily, I think our views of just the game in general (this one and the broader game of Survivor) mesh well. He said he felt good about me early on, which I didn't necessarily get, and we got to talk out the whole thing about people thinking I'm sketchy because I supposedly told Karson he was going. He was very sympathetic about it, and really made me feel a whole lot better.
RWH basically could tell that Kass wanted and has wanted Riju out and got out in front of it, he offered to align with me, which I enthusiastically accepted, and suggested a trio with Kass, which I also enthusiastically accepted. Kass helped here too by saying the thing that had made RWH apprehensive about me was that I hadn't proposed actively working together (and I mean, the reason was because I thought he was wanting to vote me out, which I think was definitely true, but I do trust that now we've committed to each other that that's no longer the case).
Hunnie was basically MIA today, I think she was busy? Everything worked out though really.
As for Riju, she'd floated Hunnie's name to me, I said I was open to it, then she followed up shortly before the challenge deadline saying she hoped we'd work together on this vote and I agreed. I guess we'll blindside her telling her the vote is Hunnie? I'm determined to avoid building on that shitty reputation with Karson so I ain't saying fucking shit.
So one thing that has been apparent to me at this point is that my reads are goddamn awful in this game. I felt good the first time I played, which largely took place on Discord, and I might be a lot worse at the forum game. It's possible I was just lucky the first time that I got swapped with people I would click with, but I do think having the back and forth of real time conversation suits my play better. The anonymous aspect makes it a bit tougher too, which I expected. I dunno, I'm just saying that I was too cocky my first go around and this time has been fuckin humbling. That said, I feel like I'm in a good spot right now, which means we're gonna swap after this and I'm gonna feel like a dumb fuckin idiot for another two days lol

1) I mentioned it before but I really liked Oaki and would have really liked to have worked with him further down the line.
2) Honestly I barely give a shit? I think I'd like to see Urbosa go, since Hunnie said she was putting out feelers on that first vote to see if anyone wanted to vote me out, and she's a strong player.
3) I think Riju is going to go and I'm fine with that. I think we actually could have worked further in this game, but my relationship with Kass is way better and I'm much more interested in building on that (and Kass wants Riju gone, so hey, no complaints here)
4) I'm thinking about it I guess, but I could barely tell you what the groups coming together would be. I certainly expect people to play at maintaining OG tribe alliances but I don't think it'll be real at all. The most relevant alliances are the ones from our most recent tribes, and even if maybe one OG tribe dominates towards the end I don't think it'll be because of some machiavellian scheme
5) Sacrifice Urbosa to save Oaki.

Everything's shit again, lmao
I do everything on a laptop and don't have a mouse (and also I kinda suck generally at challenges) so mazes are definitely not my forte, and this whole thing of designing a maze is simultaneously a really cool and inventive idea and also seems like a giant amount of work that you're gonna feel like a moron about if you lose. I love this concept as a spectator but hate it as a player.
I talked some with Link and Patricia, not a whole lot but just going over our past tribes. I worry a little that I might come off gamebotty just jumping straight into strategy but I'm hoping people just see that as where we are in the game.
First impressions (beyond the brief interactions we had during that free-for-all period a few tribals ago), Patricia seems cool and smart. Link seems like whatever. Oaki had talked up about how Link makes everyone think he's their friend, etc. but I don't see it.
Honestly, I've been underwhelmed by the OG Courage tribe, they're supposed to be the social players but I've met as many socially-likable OG Power as OG Courage. Royal White Horse was like "oh yeah everyone on courage is so great to talk to" and tbh a) I don't get why he was on that tribe, an b) I don't think they are. Oaki was great, I enjoyed talking to Sidon a lot when we were able to, and Riju was pretty good too (but like, her lack of social connection with Kass sent her home, so was she?). Mipha seems like more of a social player than half the Courage tribe.
Anyway, this challenge is very cool but very shitty for me and I'm not optimistic. The weird thing is I'm looking at the other tribes and I could potentially be good with all of them, I have at least one advocate from my most recent tribe on each other tribe I think? Maybe everything isn't shit. There, I've officially gone back and forth within the space of one confessional. But if I get voted out it was officially shit.

I've talked a bit more with Patricia and Link, but honestly the fact that none of us has brought up our potential future vote when it seems like we don't feel like strong challenge performers is indicative of the fact that we're probably expecting to go to TC and vote for one of the others. I'll definitely put in some effort tomorrow in the challenge but I don't think that'll translate to a great time. We'll see how strong my bonds are I guess if we go to TC (or how much people think of me as a goat to drag, though that's early)

Well we're apparently settled on voting Urbosa. I honestly don't even know if Link and Patricia will vote that way (well, Patricia will), but it's our best chance. I'm crossing my fingers this doesn't tie but that seems unlikely. If it does, and the vote isn't on me, I'll probably flip? I really don't know. And the thing is, if you flip and an equal number of people on the other tribe flip, it still goes to fuckin rocks. I guess we'll get another 24 hours to revote and if I can vote I'll maybe just post in the thread "I'm flipping" and that's that.
My fingers are crossed that Kass throws away his vote and knows how much he means to me and that I wouldn't let it be on him, but that's honestly a fantasy, not necessarily that he doesn't know that I value him a lot, but just that if the vote isn't on me, why wouldn't he vote with them? Maybe if Urbosa and Kohga push hard on it.

BTW, I think there's a chance Link votes for me since it seems like I have the most acrimony with anyone on the other tribe? I mean, if it happens, it happens, and I've done some to try to reinforce the "hey, us voting together will make us strong going into the merge" narrative, but I could still see it happening. If the votes are tied on Urbosa and me, I think he'll definitely flip, and I wouldn't blame him for it. It would be interesting if he threw his vote on me and it ended up being him or Patricia though.

Oh yikes, I just happened to look at my last conversation with Kass and I told him I felt solid with Urbosa because he'd asked specifically about her, I think I didn't want to sound like a shit-stirrer? We'll see how this goes.

Kass liked a random post of mine from a former tribe forum, and I'm not sure what to make of it. Is it a sign of support? Is he telling me I'm the vote on their side?
I'll be honest, I've been thinking about just calling Urbosa out in the forum tomorrow and being like "you fucking sewered my game, I'm voting you, if Kohga and Kass want to join in, we'll have the numbers". I want to run this by Patricia and Link first, and maybe it dooms me ultimately, but this is a round that seems like it's dull as hell without someone doing something. It's very late so maybe I'll rethink this in the morning (let's be honest, afternoon, I'm not waking up in the morning on a Saturday). If Kass's like is more of a "keep me safe and I'll throw my vote" then that's unnecessary and way too much though.

Let’s assume that you get back into the game this round.
1. What went wrong last time? How will you change your game to make sure you’re not sent back out of the game?
2. You’ve had time to talk to other Ghosts, is there anything in particular you have learned from them that you’re going to use when you get back in?
3. 2 Players are coming back into the game, who would you want to join you when you make it back in? What’s the game plan, will you work with them long-term, or only as long as you need?
4. Do you have a revenge plan? Anyone you want to take out ASAP? Or in failing that, anyone who seems to be the biggest threat that you wish to take out?
5. Who in the game would you like to work with the most?

Honestly I didn't play well, I kind of made a fool out of myself but as far as I can tell I had virtually no way of surviving that round given the makeup of our tribe and the fact that Link had an idol and Patricia said she had one too. I don't have a good answer for how I'd change my game. I haven't looked a lot at the resurrection forum, I saw Teebo said not to trust Kass, maybe that was a mistake? I dunno. Maybe Oaki or Oven? I think they'd be bigger targets. Not really, I feel pretty fuckin dumb to be honest, I can't really be mad at anyone. Not crazy about Urbosa and like I said in our forum, I just don't see how I'd be able to trust her in the future, so I guess her? Biggest threat would be Urbosa or Kass Honestly the only person in the game I really feel good about is Hunnie so I guess her.

You made the Jury!
We would hate for you to feel left out so have some confessional questions.
1) Do you have any regrets from your game? If you played it again, how would you play it differently? Is there anything you are particularly proud of?
2) What twists are you hoping to come up for the final 9?
3) How do you feel about your other jury members?
4) Are there any secrets from your game that you're holding from the other Jury members?
5) Who do you think will be the next player to join the Jury?
6) Who do you think will make the FTC?

1) I definitely should have played that first round differently with regard to Karson even if I still feel kinda annoyed about it. I guess I was proud that Hunnie and I were able to survive that tribe of five together.
2) None really.
3) I like everyone I guess. Link seems pretty salty but other than that people seem reasonable I think.
4) Not really though I will say I've been consistently lying slightly about the Karson situation, I did tell him "I wasn't the first person to bring up your name" and I never really include that in my side because it doesn't look great, but I still feel like, from his perspective, if I'm the target, of course people are telling me he's the target? Why is that even revelatory unless other people fucked up not having a fake plan to tell him?
5) Honestly I don't feel like I have a great handle on what's happening in the game enough to really say. I do think Kass is going to get targeted at 6 or earlier, though this is probably too early for that to happen. Sidon too.
6) I don't really know, it's a ways off. I do think that Oaki or Oven could make it there if there's some perception of them as goats? It'll be interesting to see if any of the returnees make the FTC and if that affects people's voting.

Time for another round of Jury questions!!!
We are nearly at the end game so we'd love to hear your thoughts on the final 5!
1) What will you base your Jury vote on? Is there anything that has already impressed you? Is there anything that can impress you in these final rounds?
2) How do you feel about the opinions of the other Jury members? Is there anything you agree/disagree with?
3) What types of things will you be looking for at FTC? Do you have any burning questions that you can't wait to ask?
4) Sum up the game in a meme or gif!
5) If you could say something to someone still in the game, what would you say?
