the rupees still suck (unless they benefit me in the game in which case they're a brilliant idea). You guys are great either way though.

So Urbosa won immunity, which is fine by me, I feel good with her.
I've proposed to both Urbosa and Epona working with them as a three and pulling in someone else, Urbosa suggested Hunnie or Mipha, which is who I expected. I also talked to Mipha framing it more as us two working with Urbosa and Epona.
Basically it sounds like everyone is on board with Karson, I haven't heard back from Epona or Oven but from past conversations I don't think either has a bond to Karson (I don't think anyone does other than Mipha).
I've told everyone other than Karson that I'm working with them so something's going to give if we go to TC again. If I had to guess, I'd think people would settle on Oven, which I'm not sure how much it'd bother me.
I don't have a great read on exactly where I stand with everybody right now, and this vote probably won't change that. I think everybody likes me and wants to work with me, but I think that's true of Epona and Urbosa too, and I don't even totally know if in their eyes I'd rank ahead of Mipha or Hunnie. I think I would, but Hunnie I think maybe seemed like a good person to pick up because she didn't seem quite so immediately connected off the bat, so everyone who was connected was like "oh maybe I can pick this up as my side alliance that I can bring further".
Reading between the lines, basically Urbosa and Hunnie decided this vote (though it went the way I wanted it to so that's no big deal), and I do wonder if they're secretly tighter than you might think.
That said, I don't find that to be super threatening at this point. I feel good with everyone, and if I had to guess we're going to swap sooner rather than later, maybe even after this vote.
On that note, 3 tribes all going to TC right off the bat seems fishy, I know I said that before, but there's gotta be something else going on here I feel like. I've been wrong about plenty of things in the past though (and, for all I know, plenty of things in this post), so maybe not.

Saas’ Saasy Solicitations
Hi there! I’m here to solicit some answers from you, because you’ve got a head and I want to know what’s in it! If you refuse to respond to my questions, you may need to be saased, so do it or else!! I will be vicious.
1. How do you feel about the results of the challenge? Are you happy with who won Immunity? Do you think it changed the way the vote will go down?
2. Any theories about who might have the advantage? Does that affect your choice this TC or your thinking moving forward?
3. If you had the sole vote to eliminate anyone on the tribe, who would it be and why? Is this the person you think will actually be going home? If it isn’t, are you going to do something to change that?
4. On a scale of 1-100, how safe do you feel going into this TC? What about if this tribe has to go to another TC after this one?
5. If your entire tribe was drowning in the middle of the ocean and you could only fit one other member on your raft, who would you choose to save and why?
That’s all for now! Stay tuned for more…solicitations. And try not to go home, while you’re at it.

1. I think I covered this in my previous post.
2. No clue, I don't think it affects us. Maybe it's Karson, maybe it's an idol, maybe he votes me? It could happen, and bad on me for that but I don't think it's likely. I would think anyone who didn't feel safe was probably going for immunity on the tribe.
3. Karson, and he's probably going.
4. I guess 90? I'd be surprised if I caught a majority of votes. And honestly, that's always a possibility, nobody has perfect reads, I've been voted out when I thought I was safe (but it was way further in the game).
5. Hmm, I think Epona? Can horses swim? Epona seems like a good ally, I don't necessarily think I'm his #1 or #2 (I might be? I just don't know for certain) but we get along and he seems competent in the game socially and strategically and especially early on I do want players like that aligned with me. I'm generally the kind of person who wants other good players around me, not because of some misguided "oh I only want the best who deserve to be here" kind of idea, but because it's way easier to work in the game when your allies have the skills to help you make things happen.

Ughhhhh I'm not a huge fan of this twist. I like Revali and Oaki on my new tribe but I fucking suck shit at challenges and I'm going to feel so bad when that likely sends us to TC even though they seem to have great scores. I'll still put some time into it but this is really frustrating.
I do appreciate how open both of them were about their tribe dynamics, and maybe I was too open about mine? I dunno, this is a constant theme for me, "am I revealing too much" while at the same time, I think one of my better qualities is being able to use openness to build connections. I definitely wonder about revealing the situation with Karson voting for me, because it doesn't make me look great, and nobody asked, but at the same time I feel like someone might have asked and if I only talked about it when prompted, that just looks sketchier.
I honestly don't totally know what my ideal tribal pairing would be in terms of my old tribemates. My least might actually be Urbosa, because while I think we connected, I think she's the sort of person who will adapt to the game and I don't know if she might make a stronger bond on the new tribe? Hunnie might be in that boat too. Epona I feel slightly better about in that vein. Mipha and Oven might be the best because Mipha seems kinda paranoid and Oven seems a bit aloof and the sort of person who'd be more likely to go with the majority.
I do think that Revali and Oaki seem wayyyyy more similar to each other than to me, which also is maybe a worry, so I'll need to work on those relationships tomorrow. It easily could be them flipping on me, depending on how things shake out.

Oh hey I didn't actually sink my tribe and actually I did pretty well? Nice!
Honestly, I have to give a lot of credit to Revali and Oaki not just for putting up great scores, but just the fact that they did so making me feel obligated to try a bit harder to try and keep up. I easily could have been one of the people on the other tribes putting up like 13k or something. It's also been fun getting to know them. I've connected a bit more with Revali than Oaki, though I just started trying to get to know Oaki a bit better, which I think is going well so far. My conversation with Oaki was just largely goofiness for the past day but I want to build something a little stronger than that.
I really don't have a good idea of what's going to happen on those other tribes but it'll be interesting to find out. I'm also wondering if the three paired tribes are going to be together going forward in the next vote, which seems like a definite possibility, but also a swap into two tribes of 8 seems plausible.

This is a fuckin wild twist and thank fucking god I'm with Hunnie here, because her tactic of posting that list of words in the thread I think probably won us the challenge. I had multiple people coming to me after our tribe was 100% locked and submitted (to my knowledge) going "hey so are we on the same tribe?". Genius move. We'll see if it plays out and hopefully translates to immunity.
I've talked a little to everyone who I believe to be on my new tribe and I've sent messages to everyone in the game (I'm pretty sure). I also made somewhat of an effort to set up Revali and Oaki with Mipha and Urbosa in case they interact, there was a funny moment where Oaki and Mipha apparently hit it off in part because I had talked them up to each other, but then Mipha goes "oh yeah, Oaki's great, it's a shame we're not on the same tribe", ugh.
Oh also I should update since my last confessional, I really love Oaki, we get along really well and last night we kind of dropped the shtickiness and I think connected quite well. I would love to work with him deep into this game, he's fun to talk to, and fun in a way that I think probably translates to other people liking him too, making him a good ally to have long term. I might have to cut him for that same reason later, but for now I'm good.
As for my current tribe, it's Hunnie, Riju, Kass, and Royal White Horse. Hunnie I worked with on our original tribe, and Mipha was with Riju on her swap tribe and indicated that Riju was interested in working further in the game, so I'm hoping the three of us can work the majority. Additionally, one of the earliest things that I found out after this current cycle began was Oaki telling me that Kass is gunning for Revali. I'm not sure where he heard that from, but it could be useful in the future. I don't know whether that makes me more or less likely to target him should this tribe go to a vote. On the one hand, I could eliminate someone gunning for someone I consider a potential ally, but on the other hand I could keep a known rivalry around (though maybe Revali doesn't know about this quite yet) and use that going forward.

lmao, I was chatting with Revali discussing programming (which I do for work and I guess he's going to school for), and keep in mind we have like 3 pages of chat at this point involving deep discussions of TV, like obscure foreign language TV, and he goes "oh so what do you do when you're not programming?" I absolutely called him on it like "uh did you forget who you're talking to?" It's not a big deal but was very funny to experience

I'm feeling less great right now, lol. The thing is, with Epona being on Exile, if our tribe goes to TC, it's pretty easy for the other three to team up because they don't want 3 original Wisdom being on the same tribe. I have not had great talks with RWH or Kass so far, and have reason to believe Hunnie has at least had better talks with RWH. I'm probably in a better spot with Riju than Hunnie is, so that's one point in my favor. It probably doesn't help that when Kass said he chose Kass as a character because he loves Kass from Cagayan, my response was roughly "lol I wouldn't want people to compare me to Kass from Cagayan", which is true but maybe not tactful.
Hunnie alluded to RWH knowing that Riju had said his name in the first round, but he said that they were patching things up. Hunnie also told me that Urbosa had floated my name as an alternative to Karson in the first round, which isn't great. Ideally we just win immunity and maybe we don't have to worry about the specter of Epona coming in from Exile if we go to the vote following this one. I'm afraid I'll have to campaign against Hunnie, which is less than ideal. Hopefully it won't come to that.

1. You've now gone through two swaps. How does this effect your alliances? What's groups do you feel strong with?
2. You've now met a lot of players, is there anyone you'd be wanting to eliminate pre-merge? Either for being a threat or because you've struggled to get on with?
3. Have you heard musings of any items or idols being possessed? If so, do you have any theories as to who might have these items or idols?
4. Who would you say is the strongest bond you have in the game currently? How do you think the swaps have effected your relationship with them?
5. What would be the craziest possible twist you could think of that could be done in a game? Do you anticipate we've already thought of this and plan to execute this plan, or is it too insane even for our standards?

My last message to RWH ended asking him how the game has gone for him hoping to talk strategy and he's left me on read for hours despite having posted in the forum. I'm not feeling good with him.
1. everything's shit
2. I just want to survive
3. I think there was speculation about Kohga or Link having advantages?
4. Probably Oaki?
5. All Gorons are immune at tribal council. Think about it. Amazing twist.

Okay MAYBE everything isn't shit.
Getting immunity was huge, I think there's a decent chance I would have gone if we'd gone to TC but who knows. Also wow the losing tribe sucked, was anyone throwing? It's also funny because that was the one tribe with only one original Wisdom member so Epona coming in was less of an issue steering the vote.
RWH actually got back to me today, and I think we're on better terms now. I feel okay with the tribe for the most part. I haven't gotten RWH's take on the tribe but the impression I get is that Kass and probably RWH aren't super crazy about Riju. I'm on decent terms with Riju but if we go to TC and that's the vote that's not a huge deal for me.
Hunnie and I talked some more, we've been trying to actively distance ourselves for the past day or two in the perception of the rest of the tribe, and I think it's worked, but we reaffirmed to one another that we're definitely working together and outlined what we'd said to other people to distance, which is good. Hunnie is arguably my strongest bond right now. I think I'm potentially in a good spot long-term because I think once we get to merge, if we actually are tight together, she's probably going to get voted out over me? I could be wrong. I probably potentially have to work post-merge to build a case for people to vote for me at the end but that's way in the future so I'm not trying to put the cart before the Royal White Horse, so to speak.
One BB winner's game that's always stuck with me mentally is Steve Moses, winner of BB17. He talked about how his goal was to be the person who's benefitting more from the alliance than the others involved, and I think that's a smart strategy and not something people think about a lot. It's comforting to have the solid ties and be in the center of things but sometimes being on the fringe is the best way to survive.
