im giving it proper consideration although i dont think ill go for it. im thinking of it in terms of, like, going into the final buyback challenge with 20 poker chips instead of 10. is risking my life worth those extra 10 chips? we do get to see the mazes before placing our bets, but i think that's a trap encouraging false confidence because i suspect all the mazes will look pretty equal. then it'd just be down to betting on revali and kass to keep winning. i wrote all this same stuff out to teebo and he agreed with all of it except his lean is toward gambling. will be interesting

i wonder if i should be encouraging people to gamble, or discouraging them. guess it's 50/50!

would be hilarious if they all gambled and there was an upset, the consensus didnt come through, and they all lost lives.

ultimately i believe the rupees are just a fun nothing, and do not believe i will win the buyback challenge but hey why not farm a few hundred of them while in a zoom meeting. it's a passive activity i can do while still listening to the call

even though i think theyre nothing i think they SHOULD be something eventually, thatd be very cool

so as an original inhabitant of the resurrection chamber, just making it to the getback challenge seemed pretty insurmountable... just getting that shot at it kind of became my goal. that is why i didnt gamble, because making it to that goal was just around the corner and i didnt want to risk that. if the gambling round had come earlier, i would have done it because i would think i needed that extra life to make it to the actual resurrection challenge. and if i still had 2 lives and had a life to play with, i might have done it. but in this particular situation i just couldnt bring myself to.

seeing the mazes, and seeing how much time we're being given, that i could have played all the mazes myself, timed myself, etc. it really feels like i passed up an opportunity. but given my situation i feel like i have to stand by my decision to play it safe and just get to that penultimate destination, that single step away from actually getting to play this game!

but with like 7 people about to compete in that final challenge, is getting there enough
it is like a 1 in 100 shot for me to return if im doing my odds right...
