8 players in game, 3 ghosts... playerID-lives: A-2, B-2, C-2; A wins comp (im A, lets assume i win this one, so 1 out of 1 so far)
17 players, 4 ghosts: D-2, A-2, B-1, C-1; D wins comp. B/C elim'd (now im 1 out of 2)
16 players, 3 ghost: E-2, D-2, A-1; assume A wins because otherwise this exercise is over. (2 out of 3)
15 players, 4 ghost: F-2, E-1, D-1, A-1; A wins (3 out of 4)
14 players in game, possibly a big merge of 15 now for a re-split or something later?? G-2, F1, A-1 hmm so with a huge merge at 14+1, to get back in I would have to win the last winner-take-all matchup, in addition to all previous ones, and thus go 4 of 5... likely beating out groups of 4, 3, 4, and 3. if we count this current round as a win then only winning 3 of 4 remaining is needed. just as or more likely though we merge at 12+1 players remaining, so then i have to win 5 of 6 remaining... yikes. and i am ass at challenges. plus surely later boots will be more invested than the current ones to get back into the game and will put in equal effort to me. maybe we get a quit in there somewhere but it doesn't mean i have to win fewer comps, just defeat a smaller field. GULP ...  |

The anger you've put into your redemption arc is so beautiful and I love it and it so fits in with your character, like I just feel like the Power tribe has walked on your flowers and this is the aftermath of it!

thank you for the kind words of encouragement. of course one must always remain mindful that this mechanic is nothing but false hope for the likes of me and resist getting carried away by daydreams. nevertheless it is easy to get sucked back in. regrets to karson who put up a truly epic shield surfing score which demonstrates to me once again how very outmatched i am in flash games, despite my unlikely victory. i hope the poor fella is inspired to “just give up” after finding his best to be not nearly good enough. all ghosts must “move on” in order to find true peaceful rest. god speed to my unfortunate friend karson and i hope his ascension is imminent.
it would appear my treacherous tribe mates were mostly a collection of incompetents who have managed to shoot themselves in the foot. this brings me no joy nor indeed any solace. if teebo truly was new im sorry to see him out.
ive never played 7 wonders and this seems like a lot to take in. have finished watching the video and reading the rules and will try to get to work. this challenge would be a bit more in my wheelhouse but im not sure what kind of time ill have for it. eek

seems like there's barely ever anyone around when i most want to be on here. probably not relevant now but it happened in power tribe too, where id be on here from like 9am to 5pm like a good little worker bee, nothing but static. then everyone starts coming on at night and talks from like 10pm-6am while im sleeping.

looks like roscoe got very specific with his bot instructions and knew what he was doing. other instructions look a little more like mine. im in the lead now but thats PROBABLY bad? since im less built up for the future. even my blue card pawn shop was my bottom priority blue and doesnt really help going ahead, didnt get that tavern i thought i might get, and i have no instructions for selling cards for coins. probably will spend most of age 2 picking up resource cards. i think ill never get a science card since my age 2 and 3 science card rules specified it had to match an existing science card, whcih does not exist
im lucky stage 1 of my wonder got built since later on i say "build stage 2 of wonder" and "build stage 3 of wonder" which wouldnt be possible if stage 1 never went through lol
thats what i get for getting paralyzed by the challenge. imagine if i actually went onto boardgamearena and started playing according to my own rules i wrote and tweaking them as needed and so on for a few hours. couldve done that today now that im on company time instead of family time... or could i have?? if deadline hadnt hit id probably still be sitting there staring at the spreadsheet going "duhhhhhhhh" until deadline got within 15 minutes. we'll see what happens, guess i just should hope for some "luck of the draw"

PROBABLY best possible circumstances for a loss? teebo is the one guy i know i beat in shield surfing (even before i got the crazy score) and puzzle, and with karson dead i guess it moves me up to 19th place...

now that my aura of invincibility is shattered i will lift the veil of imposing quiet power and begin PMing teebo and see if i can win him into a resurrection tribe alliance. in this alliance we would do things like potentially strategize in games where that is not forbidden, or perhaps even throw challenges to me so i can win them. things of that nature

as teebo pointed out more lives will probably give us more shots in the final return challenge... so grabbing an extra life would not only get me through another loss, it could get me back into the game
but what am i, nuts? just gonna flip a coin for it?
hell maybe i should if i believe 50% is better than my odds for most challenges
