Welcome to Rito Village. This is place is a unique nestlike structure that twists around a rock that acts like a roost. Although it is a peaceful village, a couple of the fledgelings can get a little rowdy. You might also consider bringing a jacket as temperatures can get a touch chilly, especially in the evening. You can only communicate with the people on this tribe and can post whatever you want in this forum so long as you follow all of the rules. Things that typically happen on your tribe: 1. Discussing challenges 2. Tribal Council stuff (such as questions & results) 3. Shitposting (because yay bonding!) 4. Whatever else floats your boat within the confines of the rules. 5. Other stuff, who knows?Let the Guides of Hyrule know if you have any questions and may the Goddess be with you always!

There's no time for rest for the weary! The remaining heroes who survived the first trials quickly gather up into sets of three to visit the six settlements. You find yourself in the crew of adventurers headed for the Rocky Cliff known as Rito Village. You and the other two adventurers who appear to be joining you for this take your paragliders, give each other a nod and leap off. The wind whips your face as you take in the sight of Hyrule. The lands are covered in a blanketed darkness, but as you sail past the clouds, you see the splendor of the trees and the sparkling lakes that coat the land in a brilliant display of colors. The tall rocky peaks line the continent as if holding the entirety of the lands, protecting them from outside horrors. But alas, as you sail beyond the central point, you see the purple clouds that plague them from within. The sinister, dark aura that adds pressure as you descend. Calamity Ganon is the virus that must be cured, and you know time is not on your side. You land in one of the many fields of green, and pull out the sheikah slate and pull up the map function that appears to have updated to your current area. You and your two new comrades look around and begin to head in the direction that a small glowing yellow dot. ~~~ After trekking for what feels like hours, the three of you go from the damp soft grassy meadows to a more rocky, dirt filled canyon. Steep cliffs loom on either side. You begin to feel a sense of how small you really are compared to the rest of the world when you look up at the gargantuan walls of rock. Though it is sunny outside, in the shadows created by the vast size of the canyon, you sometimes feel as if you are walking at night. The three of you walk through the valley, but eventually pause. Your device tells you that your destination is atop one of the canyon walls. You have no idea how you are going to scale the wall. At best, you'd probably make it up to the jagged outcropping about halfway up, but you aren't even sure if you'd make that. Maybe if you had a foothold somewhere you could- Then one of your companions points and calls out. You follow the finger as it points towards a specific place and then your eyes widen. Hanging about 40 feet in the air is a dangling ladder that leads to a platform and a series of ascending platforms connected by rickety walkways. it goes around the far side of the cliff, but you have to imagine so long as it doesn't stop, you should be able to ascend to the top with no problem. The three of you walk over to the dangling walkway. it doesn't take you long to climb the wall and leap onto the ladder. it's a bit rough and the last adventurer nearly plummets. Probably not to their death, but it wouldn't feel good falling from that height! Regardless, it appears you've all made it to the platform above relatively unscathed. You continue along the bridge. There aren't handrails or stable paths, this appears to have been built in a hurry and made for the sole purpose of getting up quickly. Unfortunately, this means that your balance isn't perfect and a couple of times you catch yourself swaying a bit, having to catch yourself on the side of the cliff, scraping your hand a bit. it hurts, sharp jagged rocks scraping against skin, but you have a healing mushroom in your pack that should lessen the pain when you find yourself in a less precarious position. You are closing in on another platform when you hear the splintering of wood and a cry for help. You turn around to see two monsters approaching and one of your companions dangling from a broken pathway. You draw your sword. These pig face moblins mean to kill you and you aren't going to sit around. You don't have time to debate it. You take on one, while your companion takes on the other. You have to carefully step as you fling your blade forward. Any misstep, and you are likely to fall to your doom. You parry a blow from the moblin's spear as you stagger a bit. You almost stumble off the platform, but manage to steady yourself. You leap forward and finally knock the moblin off of the pathway, sending it careening to its demise below. Your companion has also finished dealing with his Moblin. Together you make your way over to your dangling comrade and help lift them up. The three of you continue up, avoiding a couple loose boards as you finally make your way to the top of the cliff. The view is now very obvious. You are standing on the edge of the cliff looking down at a very obviously giant Rock structure in what appears to be yet another canyon. At the top of the rock structure, you see what looks like a place where a very large bird may want to land. As you check the sheikah slate, you observe this is your destination. it appears to be about a half day walk, but you don't see any further obstacles in your way. You all take out your paragliders and ride the winds off of the nearby ledge as you begin to float down the fields towards the one bridge that leads to and from... Rito Village.

It would be nice if we could win this challenge. I am having the most luck with the medium difficulties and currently have a score around 6500. Also, if you guys would like to discuss which tribes we should choose to go with as a group, we can do that here.

Just got a much better score. Avoiding grays is really important, and it's worth it to just not risk going for some colored blocks to keep your chain, I think.

My record so far is 19,108 doing the difficulty that's exactly in the middle of both speed and congestion, agreed that avoiding grays is critical. I'm going to keep trying for a higher score, though.

Got up to 33,016, that's the best I'm getting for now. As far as strategy if we lose, I'd say the best tribes to go to are ones where:
1. One of us is willing to vote out a former tribemate. My thought was that if we could each throw out at least one name for this, then we can keep things "fair." 2. Ideally, another one of us has the ability to convince a former tribemate to vote with us.

I've got almost 40k and I think I'm pretty happy with that.
I think those are fairly sensible rules. The only person I think I'd have a shot at convincing is Revali, if I'm correct that he was also blindsided. I would be willing to vote out Roscoe, but please keep that between the three of us for now.
Another possible thing we could consider is if there's anyone we think is weaker socially and might not successfully bond with their new tribemates. If we know of someone who's quiet or shifty, their new tribemates might be more willing to turn on them. I don't know anyone like that from my former tribe, but if you do, I'm all ears.

Yes, I think it goes without saying that anything said here stays between us for now. Pelison (who is on Revali's tribe) seems to be a weaker player socially, and so other players might not stick their neck out too far to try to save him. So Korok forest definitely seems like an option to go to TC with. And for what it's worth, I'm fine voting out Pelison, as well.

Score of 20k, korok forest is a fantastic place to go, Oaki is a weak communicator so it works well.

I'm good with Korok being our #1 choice. How do you guys feel about Goron City being the second choice? Robbie, do you think you would be able to get Link to vote with us in that case?

Might be able to, but not sure about the relations he formed with his new village so not sure about the risk. Should be possible with about 70% likelihood.
