Welcome to Korok Forest. This is a lush forest covered in green. The inhabitants are tiny wood creatures that seem eager to visit with you. You find it a charming place that you could get lost in if you become too comfortable. You can only communicate with the people on this tribe and can post whatever you want in this forum so long as you follow all of the rules. Things that typically happen on your tribe: 1. Discussing challenges 2. Tribal Council stuff (such as questions & results) 3. Shitposting (because yay bonding!) 4. Whatever else floats your boat within the confines of the rules. 5. Other stuff, who knows?Let the Guides of Hyrule know if you have any questions and may the Goddess be with you always!

There's no time for rest for the weary! The remaining heroes who survived the first trials quickly gather up into sets of three to visit the six settlements. You find yourself in the crew of adventurers headed for the Misty Woodlands known as Korok Forest. You and the other two adventurers who appear to be joining you for this take your paragliders, give each other a nod and leap off. The wind whips your face as you take in the sight of Hyrule. The lands are covered in a blanketed darkness, but as you sail past the clouds, you see the splendor of the trees and the sparkling lakes that coat the land in a brilliant display of colors. The tall rocky peaks line the continent as if holding the entirety of the lands, protecting them from outside horrors. But alas, as you sail beyond the central point, you see the purple clouds that plague them from within. The sinister, dark aura that adds pressure as you descend. Calamity Ganon is the virus that must be cured, and you know time is not on your side. You land in one of the many fields of green, and pull out the sheikah slate and pull up the map function that appears to have updated to your current area. You and your two new comrades look around and begin to head in the direction that a small glowing yellow dot. ~~~~~~~~~~~ After trekking for what feels like hours, the three of you go from the damp soft grassy meadows to more earthen, dirt filled pathways. Though it's not particularly difficult to walk on the path, you soon find yourself going from clear skies to a shrouded mist. The transition happens gradually and before you know it the sky is dark and you can only see about 30-40 feet in front of you. Although there's no Divine Beast in these woods, you have reason to believe from your time with King Hyrule, that something lies sleeping in these woods that can help you in your fight against Calamity Ganon. Just when you think you should turn back, out of the deep fog that has set in, you notice something. The ruins of an old wall begin to stick out of the fog like a sore thumb. it appears made of cobblestone, and was likely very large, at one point. Now it's just a jagged part of what once was likely the wall to a large building. Vines are growing out of it. While you would normally just walk away, something about the place where a door likely once stood feels like it's calling to you, beckoning even. You and your two adventurers are compelled to approach the opening, which appears to just go into more woods. No sooner do you touch the wall next to the opening to help give you steady footing when you step over it, a voice rings out in your head. Take the torch, it will light the way. You aren't sure who the voice belongs to. it's deep. it feels almost ancient, a voice that, like you, has been sleeping for sometime and appears to have recently awoken. And it has awoken for you. Though you have no idea what it's talking about, you didn't see a tor- As you begin to wonder if you are going crazy, a small light illuminates in the distance. it is a beacon in the pea soup fog. You look at your comrades and then walk over to the light. Just as the voice said, it is indeed a torch. it's a little weird, but this is your best chance at getting through the woods to try to find the prize at the end of your travels. Whatever that may be. You take a few steps into the woods. There are trees everywhere and the fog does appear to clear up, but only in the immediate vicinity. There's no obvious path, but with the torch you feel a little more confident to carry on. You walk for a little bit, but then feel a chill. You look to your comrades but they have both vanished into a deep fog that is ascending on you very quickly! You try to turn, but you feel yourself being pulled. Before you know it, you are standing with your two comrades, torch in hand, back at the cobblestone wall you started in. You shake your head. What the heck just happened? After the shock wears off, the three of you decide to try again, but this time you take a slightly different path. As you do, you get farther and believe you have to be on the right path now! Unfortunately, moments later you all are pulled back to the entrance again. You are beginning to get frustrated. This isn't leading anywhere. Maybe this was a dead end. What could actually be out here that is worth this trouble? Just as you are about to suggest that you leave, you hear something. it's a clinking sound, almost like beads in a bowl being jingled around. You call out to see who is there. Hello! Are you lost? You are startled as a small creature, who appears to be made out of wood with a leaf over it's face like a mask appears. As it walks, it makes the clanking sound that you heard before. You respond that you are lost. These woods are confusing. Here, follow me! i'll help you through! it immediately begins to waddle off hurriedly. You are shocked that it can move so fast for basically having no limbs and being extremely tiny. You don't waste any time as you follow him, torch in hand. The three of you keep going, zigzagging in and out of trees keeping up with the surprisingly speedy guy. After turning a corner, you see two giant boulders that appear out of the fog and the creature waddles between them. You follow him, and blink as you emerge into a fogless forest filled with brilliant green foliage and golden sunlight streaming through. Butterflies of all colors are flapping around you and more of the wooded creatures are all around, looking at you as if eager to meet you and curious about your appearance. in this clearing you also see a giant tree that has to be hundreds if not thousands of years old. in your heart, you feel that tugging you felt when the voice spoke to you earlier. Whatever you came here to find, you know that speaking to the giant tree will be crucial. You begin walking towards him, looking all around at the magnificent place known as... Korok Forest.

Hello everybody! Welcome to Korok Forest!
I... actually haven't been here for a while, honestly. I've been trying to set up my used motorcycle firm, "Oaki's Motorcycle Madness", in a few towns elsewhere... but things seem basically like I remember them!

Hey y'all how are you doing? Seems we're here together, obviously we can get to know each other through PMs but want to share information on our tribes in here? Will probably help us all out in the long run.

Honestly given the tribes are so small and we're going to a joint tribal if we lose, I think it's probably best to not bother with being sneaky. We had enough of that at courage, if I'm honest.
The courage tribe is split up into two "styles" of social players. We've got the "genuinely nice people who are playing from the heart", which was Sidon, Robbie, Riju, Royal Horse, and myself", who I would say you can trust incredibly easily should you end up in a tribe with them. I figure I may as well tell you that because there's gonna be a tribe swap after this and it'll help you guys if you've gotta find someone fast.
Then you've got Link and Chio.
Link and Chio were the "I'm going to do surface level interactions and seem genuinely interested in you but I'm actually just trying to get you to do what I want."
Robbie and Chio saw through Link immediately, but Chio hadn't been as effective and so we thought about keeping him in, but we (as an entire tribe) anticipated this swap and didn't want to have pissed off Link's close allies in case we got swap screwed with one of them. Turns out the swap was smaller than anticipated, so we could've gone after Link, but nobody wanted to be too risky.
The tl;dr of that is the social tribe were on the same page for the Chio vote, but half of us didn't really trust Link. For me what set off the red flag was when he told me that I was in his alliance.
Through Prince Sidon.
Who heard through Riju...
Yeah, that sounds like something out of a high school drama. But he literally did that. And because the people he told directly thought he was cool we couldn't do anything about him. But in all honesty if we go to tribal and we can vote Link I'm 100% down unless any of you guys developed a rivalry with one of your former tribe members.
I realise I'm probably being a bit direct, but there's just not another way to say it. Link turned social players who apparently are meant to be about taking options into mindless zombies. I see him quickly taking control of the game if he's not dealt with soon.

Okay so my tribe was a time. The TL;DR is I got blindsided and I can speculate on what actually happened but it's just that speculation. But I have enough information that I think my picture is not wholly innacurate.
So day 1 I got to know most everyone on the tribe, Magda was pretty social and savy and we got along really well (I now watch Schitt'$ Creek because of them, great show btw).
Kass was a fellow bird (apparently also put Revali) as their top choice and seem to enjoy all the same off the wall information and videos as me and they are just a delight. I trust them with my life.
Then there's Roscoe, who has one of their first PMs being about a failed idol hunt, we everntually got on through talking about video games like Danganrompa.
Khoga role played some sort of traveling Ronin samurai, but don't let the gimmick fool you, he is here to play.
Then There was Teebo, who is very obvious new at the game, he's a good kid, roleplay a bit hard day one but people really liked it.
So through the first day only one person hadn't really talked to me, Patricia. Patricia seems to be in australia and was transitioning back to being able to work around game start but was behind a day.
When it was revealed we were going to tribal, well the answer seemed obvious, Patricia would be the vote. But they finally started talking and something funny happened. Apparently Khoga told Patricia that "everyone liked me" and tried to pin them being the "defaul vote" on them not having talked to me. Khoga also told me they would be voting Patricia to "make me happy" (I was not pleased given I didn't really want Patricia dead, just for the tribe to be happy). For the record, I liked everyone on my tribe and what conversation I did get out of Patricia I did like, I was not a die hard "kill Patricia" but I wanted our tribe to not be a powder keg because maybe we wouldn't swap right after (thank god we did).
So I did the challenge and won immunity because you can never be too careful. And after tribal it appeared that Roscoe had a soft spot for Patricia, which fine, I heard out Patricia. Patricia said she was voting for Teebo, Roscoe said he gave a pitch of voting for Teebo since he was new and might drag us down in challenges. I wasn't too hot on the idea, Teebo hadn't done anything wrong, then again neither really had Patricia. I figure "well it'll come down to what Khoga and Magda think". I talked to both of them later in the day, Khoga told me he said no to Teebo immediately and was going to Patricia, same with Magda.
Then the vote roles around and it's 5-3 Magda, Patricia receiving the other votes.
If it was 5-3 Teebo it would have been weird but literally no one even mentioned Magda's name to me. Maybe Khoga viewed me as too much as the "head of the tribe" or at least wanted to paint me that way and I was clearly close with Magda. Maybe It got out that Magda wasn't getting along with Roscoe, and so they were cut for that. I don't know, all I know is no one told me and no one even gave me a "before tribal is up" PM, so yeah.
In other words I will flip on that old tribe so fast, not only was I outvoted, but my friend was voted out and I wasn't told about it despite the fact that I probably would have gone along if anyone had just said "we're probably voting Magda out". So like if we do lose, so long as it isn't Kass, if you have a tight ally on another tribe you don't want going home, I will vote with you so easily and be yours for the rest of the game.
Also, any idea on that advantage. Only Roscoe and Khoga claimed it and both said they didn't have it, despite Khoga getting a 2:01 on the jigsaw.

... okay, it sounds like your tribe was worse than my little one-sided tiff with Link.
Link might have been dominating our tribe but at least he trusts me! Your tribe sounds awful... So Teebo was the third Patricia vote? (speculation based on what you've said)
In regards to the advantage: I told Riju when her name came up as a very early possibility (although it got stamped out quickly), so I think she would've gone for immunity out of security. Horse won immunity, so he didn't. Chio's gone, but he told me he went for immunity before he went (not sure if I believe it but like that's what was said). But Chio seemed like he thought something was up, so I could believe that. Robbie knew he was going to be the vote before Chio was the vote so he 100% went for immunity. Sidon said he wanted immunity for similar reasons that I did, I'm inclined to believe him since he was the only one with me on the anti-Link wagon. I went for immunity because I was low-key paranoid about being manipulated by these potential all-stars, since we were meant to be strong social players. In the lead up to the vote I realised that we probably were safe, though it took me a while to realise that the group was just a genuinely pleasant one (aside Chio and Link).
Link might have gone for the reward if he felt his little cult was working? Either he has it, Chio had it and went home with it, or nobody even competed for it. But I couldn't tell you what it was.
Also side note, that jigsaw time is insane! I could just manage 3:00!

Either Teebo or Kass would be. I'm not sure which. Kass seemed freaked out over the possibility of Teebo going but didn't seem in the loop. Also the night that Patty was originally going for Teebo it was over some minor stuff they apparently "patched over". One of them was in the know, one of them wasn't. It's possible Teebo actually patched stuff up and voted Magda, but Kass wasn't a huge fan either, they seemed to think Magda was "getting bored of their conversation".
Also most of the power people were in the low 2s...I got a 1:58. I went hard and given that blindside I am happy I did win immunity.

I also incredibly nervous about how Khoga and others are gonna be pitching it to others, cause I feel he has some line about how "Revali was running the tribe" when well, it's very clear I wasn't. Hopefully we'll hear from Pel later.

Also fyi, for the challenge, just go to the hardest difficulty. Even on the wings next to it the base value of hitting a color are too ridiculous and even hitting A BUNCH of gray walls, the score is around 5000 for me where as in any other area it maxes out quite a bit below that.

Damn.... if you don't even know who it is then it'll probably be hard to work with them. Do you think we'll get given communication with the tribe we go to joint council with (in the event we lose, which hopefully we don't)? Because that could influence the order.
Though also if Pelisan has any super close allies/super hostile enemies that'll influence where we should order everyone.

Yeah, I second that. I was messing around on easy and saw my measly 500 points and collected way more when I jumped to the hardest difficulty.

Oh my trust in that tribe is completely shattered, but if I'm in a situation where I "have" to work with an old tribe mate it'd be one of those two. Like I said, I was COMPLETELY blindsided. All I can be sure of is that khoga, roscoe and patty probably voted out magda.

Okay so
If you sit on a line between two lanes, you hit every box in both lanes.
If sitting in the middle gets you 6000, the right lane alone gets you like 2000?
I'm going to see what the highest idle strat is and then try to build off of that.
