Anyway, the saga of Dog and Ball was fun to write about, even if my gimmick may have been the first obstacle to us developing a meaningful relationship. Sadly, I was unable to continue fetching you for long.

Whatever the exact genesis of the tension I felt when messaging you, it ended up directly leading to your elimination, yet even in that I had to feel conflicted. Your apology and attempts to reconnect with me were a good idea, and they made me reconsider my stance even though I suspected parts of it were lies. But it was just too late by then! I'd already committed to eliminating you before we met back up.

I suppose this says something about the importance of maintaining as many positive relationships as possible and maybe not going for unnecessary blindsides really early in the game.
