[intro + round 1] Hello… Hello? Are you awake? Thank goodness. i was beginning to worry that we would run out of time. With Calamity Ganon on the rise and no heroes to reclaim the triforce… What? You don’t remember anything? Oh right. The process of awakening would have left holes in your memory. Let’s start from the beginning. Every 10,000 years, a dark entity known as Calamity Ganon terrorizes the Kingdom of Hyrule with his dark minions and power. To counter this entity, the civilians of Hyrule band together to keep him at bay. in the last cycle, person who exhibited great courage and a maiden who could channel the divine power given to Hylian’s by the Goddess with her wisdom were the spearheads of this. Together, in combination with the advanced technology from the people known as the Sheikah, they were able to drive the power fueled beast back. About 100 years ago, i was chosen to be the maiden for the rising of Calamity Ganon. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well and the hero i was supposed to have for support was lost. As such, i was forced to place the entire kingdom into slumber until a hero was ready to help me defeat Calamity Ganon, who has been kept at bay by my power. But my power is dwindling. i’m starting to weaken. i need help. Who am i, you ask? i am Princess Zelda, of the royal bloodline in Hyrule. i was chosen by the Goddesses to carry out my sacred duty to stop Calamity Ganon, but we were woefully unprepared. We thought we could rely on the technology given to us by generations of Hylian’s knowledge. We had advanced machinery to help us called Guardians, plus the force of four massive machines known as Divine Beasts, and yet, it was still not enough. Calamity Ganon rose, controlling all of the machines with his dark power, and severing our chances to take him out. As a last resort, i was forced to hold him back, trapped in the ruins of what used to be Hyrule Castle using my power. in doing so, it required time itself to stop until a hero was ready. That time has finally come. if you are hearing this, you are one of three types of heroes who has the potential to reclaim the sacred triforce, or divine power, and banish Calamity Ganon with it for good. These heroes have been selected for displaying strong Courage, strong Wisdom, or strong Power. However, none of you quite have what it takes to wield all three traits just yet. You will have to prove you have what it takes to defeat Calamity Ganon. You are Hyrule’s last hope. Go forth, take on the trials given and show that you have what it takes to display all qualities essential to obtaining the triforce. i beg of you… [insert tribes/characters here] Once Zelda’s voice fades, you, along with the 20 other players selected by the triforce as potential wielders, wake up inside of a great chamber. You get up and, along with the others in your chamber, walk towards the end of the chamber, where a bright light is. You emerge from the cavernous chamber and realize you are on a giant plateau overlooking the kingdom of Hyrule in its vast glory. it is a high plateau, easily 100 feet tall, if not more, with steep cliffs surrounding on all sides. There’s no way you could possibly survive the 100 foot drop or so. You start to feel a sinking feeling as you don’t have any feasible way off of the plateau. You look around a bit, examining a few ponds, some of the foliage nearby, and look at the various but nothing seems to indicate a way off. Suddenly a voice shouts from behind each of them. OY! Are you trying to get down? i wager i have a way that you can do that. See this paraglider? But, what fun would it be to just give you this paraglider? i’d like to see you prove your worth to ensure i am giving it to good hands. See that shrine over there? I’d like you to pass the test that waits for you inside. Prove your worth, and this paraglider will be yours. And don’t worry, there’s plenty for all!

[Round 2] I have deemed you worthy of inheriting this paraglider. You have proven your worth. Before you go though, I feel that I haven’t quite been forthright with you all. As such, you deserve to hear the truth. In a blinding flash of light, all players, including you, hold their arms above their heads as the cloaked man dazzles with a brilliant display. After a moment all arms come down, and floating in front of them is a very kingly figure. However, he is translucent and surrounded by blue flames. I am King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule, or...i used to be. 100 years ago, I was one of the citizens of Hyrule that fell to the attack by Calamity Ganon. i am both a failure to my kingdom and to my daughter who is currently the only thing preventing the destruction of our lands. She sits in Hyrule Castle as she has for all of time, keeping the monster at bay. i request you heroes journey to the many cities in the lands of Hyrule to help reawaken the four sleeping mechanical Divine Beasts that will help you defeat Calamity Ganon. I ask this, both as the fallen King, and as a father, that you use this paraglider in your quest to help destroy Calamity Ganon. You receive a paraglider which you can use to finally leave the Great Plateau. As you look in the distance, you see a great castle, easily as tall as some of the surrounding mountains, but surrounding it is a giant black and purple cloud with the head of a beast swirling around it menacingly. King Rhoam looks at your worried looks. That is Calamity Ganon. it currently is bound to the castle because my daughter has been holding out these past 100 years in keeping it that way. However, her strength is waning. Please venture forth to the many cities in our lands which will in turn lead you to the power to suppress Calamity Ganon in the four Divine Beasts. Time is running out, please hurry and split up to venture forth! This will help you cover more ground. And a map, to show you where each city is. After this, King Rhoam disappears. You and the rest of the adventurers take your paragliders and maps and one by one, you each glide off into the distance to gather clues relating to the Divine Beasts in one of the six major settlements left: Gerudo Town, Goron City, Zora’s Domain, Korok Forest, Rito Village, & Kakariko Village. [Round 3] After arriving at each respective city and helping the locals with various quests to earn money and clues about the Divine Beasts, players have now tracked them down. However, the beasts are closely guarded by elemental bosses created by Calamity Ganon that you are unable to get past at this time. You and the rest of your comrades decide its time to power up a little bit. Through your travels, you have come across three items: Heart Containers, Stamina Vessels, and Spirit Orbs. Heart Containers increase your health. Stamina Vessels, your ability to traverse tall mountains and swim longer distances. Spirit Orbs are the items you collect which help to increase your fortune with Goddess Statues that are scattered throughout the lands. in new groups, you all split up to collect these three important items as they will make conquering the Divine Beasts in the war against Calamity Ganon a much more manageable tasks. [Round 4] As you prepare to face the Divine Beasts with your new upgraded powers and stats in tow, the entire land goes dark and a deep crimson Red Moon appears in the sky. Oh no! Heroes, the Blood Moon is rising, this will give enemies an advantage over you when battling. You must go to the Divine Beasts and conquer them before it's too late. Hurry! Time is running out! See impa in Kakariko village. She will assess your abilities and let you know if you should make any final preparations. Once Zelda's voice leaves, all heroes quickly gather in Kakariko Village to meet impa, who was once an advisor to Princess Zelda. Hello heroes, i wish we were meeting under better circumstances. Unfortunately, i don't have time for pleasantries. Please, come forward and let me assess your powers. ... i suppose that will have to do. Not ideal, but at least you won't face certain death in your current state. There are four Divine Beasts, and you must hurry before the Blood Moon rises to peak. Once it does, i do not think anyone will stand a chance at conquering them. i will now divide you into teams to conquer the four Divine Beasts: Ruta, Rudania, Medoh, and Naboris. Once all of the teams are decided, the heroes quickly make their way in a race against time to conquer the beasts before all hope is lost. [new swapped tribes]

With much effort and sacrifice, all of the Divine Beasts fall under the control of the heroes before the Blood Moon can fully rise. With this victory, the chance to take down Calamity Ganon increases exponentially. You, along with your fellow adventurers, decide that it's time to begin final preparations in order to finally go toe to toe with the beast your entire quest is based around. Those who have braved the wilds of Hyrule thus far gather in a town, filled with various characters you've helped in sidequests along the way. it's a town, born of the idea that everyone should have a new start. It is here, in this town that you helped build, that you all begin to gather your forces, assembling your arsenals. The town born from the hearts of Hyrule. A new town, a new hope. Just as you feel you are about ready to face Calamity Ganon head on, you feel something. A pulling, a tugging. Something is drawing you in. A force...long forgotten by time. it compels you to listen, calling with it's serene, silent song. it hums to you, making your fingers twitch as you recall the familiar hilt you once carried long ago before your slumber. The Master Sword. Zelda's soft voice calls out from the echoes of the wind. You turn your head, focusing away from the call of the sacred blade to heed the words of the Princess. You listen with sharp intent. A sacred blade, said to only be able to be wielded by heroes with great courage. it appears you are the intended recipient. Go forth, listen to the voice and follow it through fog and shadows where it has been hidden for almost a century, waiting for you. And with that, Zelda's voice fades. You look to the other heroes and nod, but just as you begin to leave, another voice, carried on the winds, calls out. it's impa. Her voice has some urgency to it. Heroes! A lost Divine Beast has been located. This will be crucial in the final battle against Calamity Ganon. You must travel to the resurrection chamber from which you awoke atop the plateau to seek out the fifth divine beast! Make haste as i can feel Calamity Ganon's power growing in my bones! And with that all voices stop aside from the blade which is still softly trying to draw you to it. Only a few heroes remain. The wilds of Hyrule have not been kind to you traveling adventurers. However, enough of you remain that you can evenly split your group to achieve both goals at once. With the time limit in place, it only makes sense to obtain both items as quickly as possible. | | | Epona | Master Kohga | Urbosa | | | Kass | Hunnie |

Once your tribes are split, your two groups quickly begin your quests to obtain the Master Sword and the Fifth Divine Beast.

[Round 10] With the final items in hand that will be essential to help vanquish Calamity Ganon once and for all, the heroes reconvene. There is nothing left to obtain or do, but use the items that have been gathered along the way and connections that have been built in order to tackle the foreboding castle that has loomed in the distance for all of this time. You all look to one another, swords in hand, and nod before racing off. The path is treacherous. It is filled with Calamity Ganon's monsters and the nefarious Guardians with their destructive lasers that you have been battling this whole time. You smite the beasts and fell the Guardians in your path, but not without a few casualties. Finally, huffing and covered in dirt, the final nine heroes that are left appear just outside the castle. Black clouds of smoke billow from every angle. More Guardians can be seen inside. An ominous aura surrounds all of you as you stand outside the black gates. This is it. This is the final trial you must all endure together before facing Calamity Ganon. This is what you have spent your entire time building towards thus far. You have nothing left to do, but battle it out to reach your ultimate goal. This is Hyrule Castle.

[Round 16] The Guardians wore you down. The monsters you faced were the toughest yet. The items you used were valuable in getting you to this point. However, there is nowhere left to go. As you enter the door atop Hyrule Castle and enter the foyer, you notice it is quite empty. Strange, as you can feel a strong presence looming somewhere, but from what you can tell, it's empty in this hall. The three of you that remain are startled when a sudden voice calls out. Help me adventurers! I...I can't hold on any longer I... It is Zelda. Her voice is filled with worry and weariness. She is clearly running out of strength to keep up the battle she has kept up this past century and as her voice begins to fade, the room suddenly begins to shift. There is a loud noise as a large hole opens up before you. ...he's down here...please...for all of Hyrule...end this once and for all... And with that Zelda's voice vanishes. The three of you look to each other and without another hesitation, you jump in. The fall feels like it takes forever as you watch the light from above begin to fade. The hole is deeper than you imagined and your stomach drops from under you. With a scream barely escaping your lips, you all crash into a pool of water. With frantic fervor, you scramble to the nearby bank and catch your breath. This chamber is eerie and you can feel that strong presence from before. Then a glowing light appears on the nearby wall, filling the chamber with a reddish glow and you see it. A giant spider looking monster crawling alongside the walls of the chamber. it hisses as the light glows and you can see the eyes opening as they focus on you with laser precision. You all draw your swords. This is it...the final battle. Hold nothing back, you have worked so hard to get here. You did not come here to give up and go home empty handed. This is your chance to prove you are the hero of lore who is destined to save Hyrule. It is time to face... Calamity Ganon. [Cool bannery type image here for FTC]

[Post FTC pre reveal]
The battle was long and hard-fought. All three heroes fought valiantly. But, the challenge of fighting Calamity Ganon proved too much for two of you.
The lone victor slowly staggers from the exit created when Calamity Ganon's true form, a giant boar the size of a small mansion, was finally struck by an arrow filled with light power. it crashed as the dark aura that has surrounded Hyrule for over a century.
As the hero staggers to the surface, the brilliance of the sun shines down upon they hold their hand above their head to let their eyes adjust to the light. After squinting a moment or two, the hero finally is able to leave this accursed place. They step over the Guardians and destroyed monsters, and pass by the slain bodies of those they have outlasted to bring this peace to the lands of Hyrule.
As they approach the gates, three figures stand outside. Zelda, who has finally been freed of her eternal battle with Calamity Ganon, impa, who has traveled to bear witness to the hero who has saved Hyrule, and the ghostly figure of King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule there to thank the hero for not only saving Hyrule, but freeing his daughter of her struggles.
All three figures stand outside the gates, and with a slow creaking noise they open.
The lone hero is about to emerge victorious is none other than...

[Tribe Courage Banner] All heroes are startled by the man's voice, and some even perplexed by the proposition he has given. What use does he have for finishing the trials on the top of this plateau? Who is he? You are suspicious, but even with your skepticism, you recognize that you are not getting off of this plateau without obtaining the paraglider. You are hesitant, but eventually all of the newly awakened adventurers agree to this bizarre request. Thank you all! May the goddess be your guide! And with that the man slowly walks off towards the fire pit he has built in the nearby outcropping. You all blink, shake your heads and then look at the structure ahead of you. it is massive. it looks like a small stone hut with a black stone column that looks like a chimney coming from the top. it has strange runes carved into its sides and you get a strange sense that you've seen something like this before. Perhaps in the chamber you woke up in? You aren't sure, but rather than go back and check, the group decides to press forward. But it looks closed. You all scratch your head until one brave adventurer places their hand on a small pedestal looking contraption that rests next to what appears to be a strange door. As they touch it, it begins to glow blue. As it glows blue, you all watch in wonder as suddenly the rest of the runes on the sides of this small structure begin to glow orange. You all watch in amazement as accompanying the glow, the strange door begins to shift horizontally in a number of directions as it seemingly melts into the wall. Once it has opened, you all look at the mouth of this structure. it beckons, calling you with a spiritual pull as you all are drawn onto a platform that slowly descends once you are all on it. The platform stops in a dimly lit chamber. Blue glowing runes appear etched into the tiled room which seems more advanced technology-wise than anything you've seen thus far. Clearly a very advanced civilization built this structure. Adventurers, if you have made it thus far, it is your time to take on your trial. i welcome you to take on the challenges ahead. if successful i will grant you powers that will allow you to become stronger. Go forth, if you have the wisdom, courage, or power necessary to overcome the hardships ahead. i will be waiting. You have no idea who this voice belongs to. You've never heard it before. it sounds very ancient and deep though as if it is someone who has been alive for quite a long time. No sooner does it end, three tunnels light up. One glows red with the symbol for power, another glows green with the symbol for courage, and the last glows blue with the symbol for wisdom. All heroes then are drawn, going towards the door that calls to them specifically. When all are split up, a total of 8 in each group has been revealed. Though the voice told you to go back, none of you see any point as that won't get you a paraglider. So with a quick nod you each head into your respective tunnels to take on the trial ahead. ***** The eight of you that have been chosen by the Goddess herself as those possessing great Courage enter the green room. You are compelled to face the trial ahead together. You are individuals who possess unmatched resolve to face any foe and tackle any obstacle that would prevent you from accomplishing your goals. Similar, yet so different. As you walk down the hallway, a chamber lights up and you come face to face with a mechanical beast unlike any you have seen. it moves like a crab, looks like a large clay pot with an eye, and moves with blades for hands. And it doesn't appear to be waiting to strike at you. Children of Courage, do not back down from this challenge! Fight as if your lives depend on it! You all hear the voice, and then, blades drawn, you all charge, determined to show this monster that your courageous resolve is unmatched!

[Tribe Gerudo Town] There's no time for rest for the weary! The remaining heroes who survived the first trials quickly gather up into sets of three to visit the six settlements. You find yourself in the crew of adventurers headed for the Desert Oasis known as Gerudo Town. You and the other two adventurers who appear to be joining you for this take your paragliders, give each other a nod and leap off. The wind whips your face as you take in the sight of Hyrule. The lands are covered in a blanketed darkness, but as you sail past the clouds, you see the splendor of the trees and the sparkling lakes that coat the land in a brilliant display of colors. The tall rocky peaks line the continent as if holding the entirety of the lands, protecting them from outside horrors. But alas, as you sail beyond the central point, you see the purple clouds that plague them from within. The sinister, dark aura that adds pressure as you descend. Calamity Ganon is the virus that must be cured, and you know time is not on your side. You land in one of the many fields of green, and pull out the sheikah slate and pull up the map function that appears to have updated to your current area. You and your two new comrades look around and begin to head in the direction that a small glowing yellow dot. ~~~~~~~~~~~ After trekking for what feels like hours, the three of you go from the damp soft grassy meadows to loose unstable scorching sands. Taking steps feels like your energy is being sapped from your body. Step by step, you struggle not to sink into the vast sands in front of you. You walk for what feels like an eternity, and just when you think you can't go any further, an oasis appears in the distance. A large rock overlooking a pool of water with palm trees around it and a somewhat bustling market. The three of you clamber to the oasis and take a gulp of water. it is refreshing and helps to cool you off in the unbeatable heat. Most of the rest of the inhabitants here appear to be fixated on the market place. Curious, you all join them. in the middle is a variety of items including a pair of sand shoes which people seem to be bidding on. This would make your trek go better as you still have a ways to Gerudo Town. However, the price currently is too steep. With the scarce nature of rupees, the currency in Hyrule, you haven't had any time to gather nearly enough for them. in addition, you come by information that only females are allowed into Gerudo Town anyways. Something about tradition and men being the scum of the earth. Unfortunately for you all, at least one of you is male. Therefore, you are at a loss as for how to get in. Just as you are about to give up hope, you hear someone say... Yoo hoo! Adventurers. You look like you need some help. The name's Vilia and i think i have just what you need in order to get into Gerudo Town. Don't think much, i just overheard you talking to others about it. Come here and i'll assist. You all pause a moment. You don't know this person nor do you have any reason to trust that they are going to help you, but you don't have other ideas. So on a leap of faith you trust him. ~~ About thirty minutes later, the male members of your party are now dressed in silk garments of bright colors and are dressed very feminine. A veil masks their more masculine features and what is exposed is ambiguous enough to imply femininity. The guy who gave you these has really gone out of his...or her?...way to help you and asks for a nominal fee which you happily pay. As you walk in your new get up, you pass by the merchant selling the sand shoes. He is so encapsulated with how you look that he gives you the sand shoes for free. With your new garb and shoes in toe, the rest of the trek is a cinch and the muscled Gerudo warriors do not stop you from entering. You take a step into the sandstone buildings and magnificent water structures that line them. The guards roam the streets and females of all creeds walk around taking in the magnificence of... Gerudo Town. [Tribe banner] it is here, you hope to find out more information about the Divine Beast that roams the desert. Time to get to work.

[Tribe Goron City] There's no time for rest for the weary! The remaining heroes who survived the first trials quickly gather up into sets of three to visit the six settlements. You find yourself in the crew of adventurers headed for the Tumultuous Volcano Colony known as Goron City. ~~~~~~~~~~~ After trekking for what feels like hours, the three of you go from the damp soft grassy meadows to rough, unbearable rocky paths. Taking steps feels like your energy is being sapped from your body. Step by step, you struggle as you feel you are burning up from the intense heat of the volcano. Soon you and your two comrades are forced to turn back after your shield explodes into flames. Knowing that it's no longer safe to traverse the devastating terrain, you go back down the mountain until you are at one of the many stables in Hyrule. You know you probably don't have a lot of time left in the day and you decide to get a room for the night. it won't do you any good to burn up on a mountain and you need time to properly prepare. Just as you are about to sleep, you notice someone outside the inn selling bottles of a red liquid. Normally, you probably would just let it go, however you feel a pull. Maybe on a subconscious level your curiosity is trying to tell you to visit with this person. You walk up and begin asking about the bottles of liquid. Yeah? You are curious about this? This is Fireproof Elixir. it can help you resist the firey heat of the volcano if you drink it, but it doesn't work very long...kind of an invention of mine, but i can guarantee you won't find anything else. That volcano packs quite a punch as i'm sure you've experienced, so what'll it be? You all discuss it a bit. There's no way you are getting to Goron City without this. After pooling the meager amount of funds you've managed to gather by this point, you are able to get three potions, one for each. Apparently they have a limited time on them. in order not to waste the opportunity you've been given, you all decide to make posthaste. in full sun, you can't imagine that the volcano is going to be good. With a nod to each other, just as the moon begins to rise, you all head out after gulping down the somewhat bitter tasting liquid. it's got a bit of a kick to it though and you find yourself having to take some water to help with the heat of the stuff. After it finally cools off, you notice a considerable difference. The heat from the volcano is definitely more like a warm breeze now. The three of you begin the trek up the side of the volcano. Apparently, you aren't the only one though. As you ascend the mountain, you encounter a wide variety of heat resistant enemies who apparently thrive in these conditions. A number of terrifying lizalfos, some scorching red chuchu, and even a few monstrous bats all descend at you. You draw your swords, which now don't immediately burst into flames thanks to the potion, and begin fighting. Blade clashes with gnashing teeth as the echoes cascade into the night. Eventually, you manage to thwart all of the beasts, but your weapons are worse for wear. You hope you have enough to keep going. Along the way, you have to avoid skirmishes with remnants of the Guardians, evil controlled machines from days of ancient re animated by Calamity Ganon. You stealthfully use the shadows in order to avoid detection as you sneak past them. Your feet are sore and your weapons are on the edge of breaking as you finally come around the corner and a small sign that reads... "Goron City" [Tribe banner] As you finish reading the sign, you suddenly start to feel scorching hot. Oh no, the potion is wearing off. You hurry into the city in the hopes to finding something that will keep you from burning alive, and then finding clues to find information about the Divine Beast that crawls along the side of the volcano. Hurry up!

[Tribe Zora's Domain] There's no time for rest for the weary! The remaining heroes who survived the first trials quickly gather up into sets of three to visit the six settlements. You find yourself in the crew of adventurers headed for the Glistening Water Kingdom known as Zora's Domain. ~~~~~~~~~~~ After trekking for what feels like hours, the three of you go from the damp soft grassy meadows to slick, rain filled paths. Your boots are getting muddy and it's becoming more and more difficult to walk on surfaces. At one point, you slip, but your other companions catch you from falling to an early watery grave into the river below. You are grateful and you keep up on the path. According to your map, the way to Zora's Domain follows a river winding along the side of several hilly areas. But as the rain comes down, you are finding it harder and harder to find your footing. You seek shelter in a nearby outcropping of rocks, but no sooner do you step in, then giant humanoid lizards known as lizalfos begin to attack. You don't have a lot of time to prepare and you whip out your blade just in time to parry a blow. You and your comrades immediately begin the offensive trying to fight back against the screeching monsters. The battle is fierce, you sustain several injuries, but after awhile you all emerge victorious. You huff and slowly sit down in front of the makeshift fire the Lizalfos had going before the attack. Luckily for you, there is some cooked meat, appears to be goat by the looks of it. You all take the meat and bite into it. it's savory, filled with a very smoky flavor. You all share the meal together and wait until the rain passes. Once it does, the sun pokes its head out of the clouds and slowly begins to evaporate the water that was making your path so slippery. As it does, you find solid footing in the ground. With a look back at your compatriots you all keep on the path, with full bellies and hearts. The path is much nicer now that it's not raining everywhere and it's relatively uneventful. As you round a corner alongside a steep and jagged cliff, the river you had been following gets wider and you can hear rapids. You are about to continue on, when you hear a voice calling out. Hello adventurers! Where are you heading? A giant fishlike humanoid pops out of the water. He has many rows of sharp teeth, red scaly skin, and a pale stomach. He looks to be in good cheer and his flipper fingers tread water like the most deadly and cunning of sharks. if he wanted, you assume he could rip your arms off in a matter of seconds. However, he does not seem to be hostile. in fact, he seems rather nice. You explain your situation that you are chosen warriors selected to seek out Divine Beasts to help reclaim the Kingdom of Hyrule from Calamity Ganon. That makes sense! i've recently felt stirrings from Ruta, the Zora Divine Beast, it has been acting strange and now poses a threat to my home. Oh right, i'm Prince Sidon of Zora's Domain and don't you forget it! if you are heading that way to deal with it, i know we would appreciate the help. How about i show you the way there? You don't really feel the need to dismiss the Prince of the Zoras! He grins, gives you a thumbs up, and begins to swim down the river at a breakneck speed! You are in awe anything can move that fast. You don't have time to waste! it's time to give chase and follow the Prince to... Zora's Domain. [Tribe Banner]
