E15: a self fulfilling prophecy

also if rupees are nothing then god we just have such opposite ideas about what is fun and what isn't. they're a good idea! they're cool! why not use them for something? and of course there's the fundamental disconnect we seem to have about whether wasting people's time is funny or not

i might have figured out how urbosa keeps crushing us at jigsaws? it didn't occur to me until now to think outside the box a little.

as far as i can tell, i am allowed to do this:

tbh i have no idea if i'll be able to execute my plan that effectively but clearly if i play this straight i'll lose so

this technique does mean i really don't get too many attempts just because it takes absolutely forever

corners i've learned to cut:

1) don't try to label the whole puzzle at once with a coordinate grid; just label one row numbers 1-whatever, put them all in, repeat
2) use printscreen instead of gyazo to save ~3 seconds per screenshot and also get a screenshot every time instead of not doing so to save time
3) i think? it's better to choose rows and columns somewhat haphazardly in order to get to a point where at the end i have like 5 pieces and i can just throw them in normally with ease because none of them are near each other. this probably doesn't matter very much.

im not sure what memory chunk size is optimal but ive been doing 4-5 at a time

i just realized i don't need to use memory chunks at all if i press p to pause

not sure if i should finish my current attempt or not

i guess i'll go a little longer on it to practice the new tech
