I also think Khoga lost the game by voting out Oven. I don't think there are two people he can beat. Same for Revali, but Revali didn't choose to vote Oven so harder to blame. His only hope is people really hating Sidon or I guess not respecting Urbosa. this is ENTIRELY unrelated but the looming disaster of my irl exams literally made my first reaction to this post 'in this novel relationship revali is more likely to be owed a duty of care given his comparable vulnerability and lack of control as salient features'. if anyone knows how to study for exams please help
anyway moving on. i think revali is a bit screwed which is unfortunate because i do like him. i don't know--i think kohga could win out but he'd have to get lucky. there are still at least 3* people to add to jury which could change the dynamic considerably given that those three people will have the most information of everyone i think urbosa needs to start using items this round, last round is like eh--i feel like maybe people would mark her down for not using items if she did it wastefully, and last round was all sorts of screwed up
will people hate sidon enough to look past his play? my intuition is no

I agree that Sidon will win if he gets to the end. I think the trend on MS.net is away from being super angry or voting super emotionally, the last few Juries just haven't been that upset with the finalists compared to how things used to be.

Juries aren't bitter per se, but I think maybe they've weighed strategic control more recently? Idk, thinking about like the Nexus and School Juries vs the RPG and TRTWIUAA Juries, I do think there's a difference. Maybe I'm not explaining it well. There also haven't been many Survivor games in a while since we had different formats for a while, so maybe that's a factor too.

Thing with Urbosa is, while she can't exactly say that she controlled the game around her, what she can very well do even with all of her items being played is say that she controlled her OWN game, and that may just be enough if she says it in the right way I think. I don't think juries votes as emotionally as they used to anymore, you're not wrong. I don't know that Kohga or Revali CAN'T win either, they will just have to argue a lot harder. Kohga let a lot of things happen around him and he let go of a lot of control he had, and people aren't really going to forgive him for that. Revali on the other hand, I don't think people are necessarily going to blame him for how he played considering he was always in a position he needed to play defensively pretty much this entire game. Mipha is going to have a hard time just with how she's played her return, but I don't know she's out of it either. Sidon caused a lot of things to happen, but it seems like very few people are actively angry at him for it, and may respect it as a play depending how he spins it. And if Epona makes it to the end, she was identified as the most connected player a while ago, and they just let her get to the end??? She's got a lot she can say about what she's done to keep herself here and how she managed things.
So uh, in conclusion, I think anybody can win if they spin their games in the right light, even against some of the bigger names.

Kohga likely has the Power idol, though, and I can't wait to nullify it at F5. surely you'd just steal it

i get wanting to utilize all your options but surely having an extra idol is better than making someone else not have one, especially when getting that extra idol also makes them not have one

Is this a thing? Other than TRTWIUAA I can't think of a recent example of this. In contrast there are games like Equestria and Legendary where the emotional aspect mattered in a significant way.

Kohga could win by correctly arguing that his social game is godlike

I didn't follow Equestria and Legendary so tbh I don't know, maybe they were as emotionally charged as Nexus and School. At least in Equestria from what I know it seemed like everyone just voted for the person who was the obvious big threat, but again I really did not follow. Legendary I know almost nothing about so can't really comment there.
However Impa agreed with me, and she pays attention to most games, so I'm going to argue from authority and call it a day
