People are being really weird about their idols this game. They have no problem telling people about them and passing them around, but playing them? Oh god the horror.

I think the thing with idols is that apart from Mipha, they all think there are 7 of them floating around, so they think there's going to be some idolgeddon at 5 and whoever doesn't have an idol will just go home.
Ironically, because of Oven's idol nullifier, if that still exists at 5 then whoever Oven (or Urbosa is she still holds it) votes for probably goes home as long as he/she has the numbers on his/her side, so they're all saving their idols which probably aren't going to matter anyway.

Oh exactly. And some of the idols are half idols anyways. So like, votes will STILL happen. There isn't going to be a situation where nobody can go home cuz they're all protected.

But I mean, if I was in the game and I thought there were 7 full idols floating around and 7 people left in the game, I might be scared of that as a possibility too. I think it's a reasonable fear.

Yeah I can't imagine thinking votes even had a 50% chance of coming against me and not playing my idol, but I'm also just play-happy with items in general.
The best use is to just play it on someone else you know is getting votes and actually make something happen.

I like the plan though because it opens the door for Sidon to play his extra vote and for Urbosa to sweep in next round and steal his idol.
Also all of this splitting will happen and still no one will idol, watch

It seems like a lot of shit might be going down rn and I legit don't know who is going home.
Unfortunately people aren't really confessing, which I don't blame them for, but as a consequence we can only really guess about what's happening.
Last round seems to have blown the game wide open.

Sidon changes to Mipha, so Mipha now has the votes to go home. But Mipha is leaning towards idoling and Sidon is idoling, so if Mipha and Sidon idol and Epona does not, then Epona will be eliminated it looks like.
