Welp, he finally responded and I already regret this. He wants to use it to gain trust with other players like... NO sidon this is for us to gain trust with each other. So I imagine this info won't stay hidden for long. It's too bad... he is more lively now but that's it. I genuinely want to know what Mipha thought WOULD happen here. There's zero evidence to the contrary... |

I mean she clearly has trust with Sidon. But yeah, honestly if he doesn't give it back and she fully turns on him, she might have ruined both of their games.

I think Sidon could be pressured into giving it back, like he was with Oaki and the legacy advantage before Oaki gave it back to him again. But also this is a very different point in the game. Idk, it takes a lot of guts to have someone asking you to do something and to flat-out refuse.
I'm glad that Mipha is officially done with Sidon though. Maybe this is a good thing for her, in a horrible, twisted way. It's at least opened her eyes to how selfish he is. But it probably significantly hurts her Jury chances if he truly doesn't give it back.

Honestly, I think her jury chances are hurt even if he does give it back. Like if this becomes common knowledge at all, then like, the Mipha stans in the jury are likely to be particularly wtf about it. It was all around a terrible idea, and I don't know what she expected to truly come from it.

Yeah but if he gives it back, at least she can argue that her plan worked. If he just keeps it forever, then it's a glaring fault.
Mipha has made questionable choices all along, so it shouldn't be surprising, but she just made a move that was actually good and interesting so it's disappointing that she's fallen so far.

Zelda, she's been waiting for Sidon to use his extra vote so she doesn't have to rely on a 50-50 chance, which I get. If she learns that Mipha gave away her idol and Sidon has two, then she will have even better odds of stealing an idol from him, but she could also steal an extra vote.
Omg if Urbosa uses the gale on Sidon and steals Mipha's idol, and Mipa wants it back from him but Sidon legit doesn't have it and can't give it back!

You know what though, the Spirit Orb imo has been the "cursed idol" this game, so maybe in the cosmic universe, the possession of said idol is going to just continue to be a curse for whoever holds it so maybe on some spiritual level giving up the idol is a GREAT MOVE by mipha.
okay I know that's dumb I'm trying to find something positive about this >.<
