But then I actually got talking to Pelison and I feel like we connected more than most players I'd talked to in the game. BTW I really appreciate this, I've kinda felt like "wait am I just a dumb idiot" about most of my game after getting out. A few people were like "Oh Kass is playing everybody" when I was like "actually I felt really good about Kass, and didn't really feel like I was getting played, am I just a dumbass?" I feel like we really could have worked together well long-term, but the bastardized format maybe isn't the best for me (which I was warned about but didn't expect what all was to come).

Ugh fine then Kass don’t be a complete villain haha That’s really hilarious, because although I sure was giving it my all to make something happen with Pelison too I thought he wasn’t in it because of his lack of exclamation points I do feel like I need to admit to my conversations between Pelison and Hunnie. The unfortunate truth is that I liked both of them, but was trying to keep Pelison as an ally per Mipha’s suggestion. As it was mentioned earlier, we each shared our wishlist of who we would reach out to if we were separated and needed an ally. I suggested Sidon, Link, and Oaki. Mipha suggested Pelison and maybe Urbosa. Patricia suggested Kass. All of a sudden I’m with Horsey, Kass, Pelison, and Hunnie. Literally RIGHT before we became a tribe Oaki was like, “Yo Horsey’s coming after you” so I asked Sidon and he was like, “Naahhh y’all chill don’t worry” and I was immediately conflicted. These were who I considered two of my closest allies and they had totally different stories. Without any ability to check in with either further, BAM I’m with Horsey. I figured if I didn’t do everything in my power to try to totally win Horsey over, I was going to be targeted by him. I reached out to Kass and Pelison per the suggestions of my two newest close allies. In an effort to try and secure any sort of future alliance, I jumped through all of the hoops Horsey set up for me in our PM’s. Hunnie then enters my PM’s and I’m like gosh dang it, she’s great too. Then my dilemma of liking everyone on my tribe but not knowing who I could actually trust set in. Since Kass and Horsey both outright asked me FIRST who I was thinking, I thought I could potentially suggest Hunnie as a target, but make it seem like I was open to talking it out. The part that really pushed me in this direction was that Pelison, who I made it clear to was an ally of an ally, said Hunnie wasn’t someone he was wanting to work with. Perfect! Unfortunately, that was also a lie (but I had no idea) and I spent the remainder of the time telling Pelison my vote was Hunnie and Hunnie that my vote was Pelison. There was a moment where I could tell Horsey wasn’t in it with me, so I did admit that I’d vote whoever he wanted if it meant he would trust me again. I hated it, but felt like I was out of options. I don’t know what else I could have done, you know? I tried really hard to show the friends of my friends that I wanted to work with them, but everyone just lied and lied haha. Out of purely selfish reasons, was there anything I COULD have done besides win immunity? It sure didn’t, and still doesn’t, seem like it and I still don’t really understand why that is.

I mean, if you were open to voting Horse, Hunnie and I would have jumped on that (Hunnie can disagree if I'm not accurate there). We both got the impression that wasn't an option though.
The problem Hunnie and I had going into that tribe was that Epona was on Exile so we knew that we had to get ahead of the "an original Wisdom member has got to go" storyline that was inevitably going to arise if we lost so we made strong efforts to distance. Our tribe ended up being immune for that first tribal so the Epona scenario didn't happen but we'd already put out this distancing stuff so it would have been weird to then completely revert. And like, the distancing wasn't entirely false, like in the event that it was between Hunnie and me, I wanted to stick around and I assume Hunnie wanted to stick around, so there was a certain amount of self-preservation going on too.

I will say though that I would have worked with you Peli, had it been a different situation. I think if that was a full comms TC then Urbosa would have gone home rather than you AND we would have gotten Link's idol.

I appreciate that a lot, and I agree that we definitely could have made that happen. I hope some spectators got a kick out of me making a bit of a fool out of myself in public because that's kind of the only benefit from that no-PMs restriction.

@pat, I absolutely made stabs on people I had long-term investment in. I took out Teebo without even telling him what was up, despite me deciding in that first round that he was the player I wanted to go the distance with. Why? To both elements - what did I do right that you initially wanted to stick with me, and then what did I do wrong that you changed your mind?

I was really not happy about voting you out. We put your tribe second last on our list there because Urbosa really liked Epona, Sidon really liked Horse, and I really liked you.
When we met up with your tribe, the first thing anyone heard was that Epona/Horse wanted you gone because you'd barely talked to them, and had changed their list at the last moment without discussing it. And obviously Urbosa/Sidon hopped on board with that because it meant that their allies were safe and that they were safe. I wanted to move forward with Sidon/Urbo and I didn't see any real chance anyone would switch, so I went along with it.
Sidon and Urbo can attest (when/if they come here) that I was really, really not happy about keeping you in the dark about it and wanted to tell you at least why everyone was voting your way. But they were both really paranoid about you having the Power idol. We had an argument over it but at the end I felt that I needed to focus on my own game and should solidify relations with them instead.
I wish that swap hadn't happened =/ I did want to work with you, but there was never any way you could've survived that round.

And in terms of why I wanted to stick with you, I really enjoyed talking to you and I like working with new players anyway Survivor can be really brutal to people new to the game because you're usually just treated as an easy vote and booted immediately if youre not talking enough; I prefer that not happening (although it happened anyway the round after =/).

Kass I believe if you examine this satelite imagery you will see aliens on other planets were discussing what a big jury threat you are. It was quite the topic on the Unpopular Tribe. Before DesignateMipha returned and stated the obvious as well. Still, if PrinceSidon had attempted to pull me in with you as I had hoped he would instead of running back to the popular people I would have been open to working together. It's unfortunate that PATRICIA was forcibly my only choice when DesignateRevali and PrinceSidon tag teamed the immunity item because our plan was to murder whichever of them lost and approach you.

Also: I wanted to vote Epona, not you. Because no one was willing to say Kohga or Epona's names as votes while you had a constant target. Urbosa wouldn't do it (i think she sees Epona as the only bigger social threat alive) and Revali insisted the vote stay on you when Mipha suggested Kohga.

Oven is the strangest fellow to talk to. I can't tell if he's secretly a genius or if he really just doesn't know what's happening. Okay let's get SOMETHING straight here Ancient Oven's other name and personality is called Cherry because it was modeled after Master Robbie's first love. I don't know why everyone calls me fellow! I am clearly DesignateGirlRobot. Secretly I'm a genius but that doesn't help much when multiple people ghost you for hours or you can only talk to RWH about the vote while everyone else is voting him out..

I wish that swap hadn't happened =/ I did want to work with you, but there was never any way you could've survived that round. Honestly that's just absolute nonsense - I had more than a dozen messages with both of them and we discussed some things as a group. I had pretty good turnaround time with both of them, and if anything felt they were both a bit closemouthed. I may have been a little reticent to give details about what happened in Power, but I didn't want to tip my hand to the fledgling Teebo-Kass-Roscoe-Patricia alliance. I didn't even realize that there had been a Power idol, I'm guessing it was taken long before I got to it. Changing the order of tribes is a fair dispute, as I misunderstood the instructions - I thought we were each submitting preferences and they would be averaged out, which I explained quite clearly.
I'm a bit disappointed you decided to blindside me rather than give me a chance to work out of the hole. I had wanted to go the distance with you, and only the intervening weeks has dimmed the blaze of my anger about it. Thank you for your candor.

The Power idol was the advantage someone (Kohga) won from that jigsaw challenge in round one. Sidon in particular believed you had it - I'd mentioned that you didn't know you could do the challenge more than once, and when Epona/Horse came in saying that you'd misread the rules again, Sidon decided that you were probably lying about both.
A lot of the discussion around whether I could tell you or not happened in the Kakariko public thread, so postgame reading that will probably go a long way to filling you in on what happened there (at least from my perspective). I don't think there was ever much of a chance that the vote wasn't going to be you when Horse/Epona came in saying they both wanted to vote for you, so I didn't fight the vote much at all, but I really wasn't happy about not telling you about it and tried to convince them to let me tell you for a fair while with no success. If I'd have told you when they didn't want me to, the likely result is that you go home anyway but I lose the trust of all of them, so I didn't think I could afford to do that.

Nope! My submitted time for the puzzle was over five minutes. I tried it a second time after the challenge and got somewhere in the three minute range, then discovered the Ghost button and did better. If I'd sat there for a while I might have been competitive, but I didn't know. I need to read rules better.
I didn't choose Power, though I implied I did during the first tribe - I was worried that being seen as out of place would make me vulnerable.
