It may just be because Riju, Mipha, and I were in a full game long alliance agreement with full disclosure on all information we had.

And presumably that was set up while you all were still alive.
Though I managed to get Mipha to show me her Sparky Helmet of Truth by saying "I came back from the chamber with something, so I know you've got something."
Unfortunately it wasn't the idol that she showed me =P

Oaki you’ve been a favorite of mine from the beginning. I wanted nothing more than you, me, Patricia, and Mipha to be together. We would have all gotten along splendidly. Mipha had shown me an item earlier on and so I decided to pass my idol to her before my real death. But you were a real one in this game and are way too good for anyone here, honestly. Never change. You are wonderful <3
Also, my life got wildly busy the week we were all together in the land of the undead and I wanted to join you and party but I was also barely getting enough sleep to function and had to sacrifice my activity on here. Just know all of your posts have made me a happy Riju and I really wish we could have been on the same tribe longer together!!

Oh, Mipha and I were super close! I have three PMs from her yelling at me to get online to play my advantage while I was sleeping before deadline =P the final words are "DON'T GO OUT LIKE THIS!".
I loved the three of you guys. I get that the final returnee challenge would have different dynamics to the first one since two of us could get back the first time and there'd be another chance! <3
I don't harbour any ill will against you guys =P I was wanting to work with the three of you (and got very upset when Oven told me about his idol when Revali and Sidon were immune).

I guess I have a very different view on the game from the rest of you because I'm the first Juror never to have been on Redemption. But the whole 'let's make sure she wins the game because she's one of us' feels really bad to me when you have so many people in there playing extremely hard and extremely well. im not sure thats fully happening here. im not very keen on voting a resurrection person personally. theres enough game left and mipha/oven played long enough that nobody is ruled out but id lean toward someone who stayed all game. part of why fighting so hard to get back in was so conflicting and torturous for me haha

It's funny because we had the three of us. I wanted to bring in Kass, Riju wanted to bring in you Oaki, and Mipha kinda maybe wanted to bring in Oven. It was the Stamina/Spirit/Heart section that screwed all of us.
@magda: Honestly, being able to see the gauntlet you and everyone else ran, I have mad respect for the returnees.

I felt I got more lucky with my return than anything (only had to do one challenge before the returnee challenge and I got blessed with a flash game challenge which are the only ones I'm good at).
But I'm still in awe that you made jury, Magda. Like that's a ludicrous display if I've ever seen one.

I mean there is no hiding that Mipha’s my closest ally left in the game so of course I’m rooting for her. But I’m also really counting on her using my idol wisely as well as her other advantages. Urbosa looks like a decent option as well based on how she’s been able to navigate all of the dominating alliances. I’m still very confused by Kohga, Revali, and Oven. Like, listen, I WANT them to blow my socks off and make me eat my words I’m just super in the dark about anything related to them!

When I talked to Kohga I think he's a lot smarter/aware than he's making people think? With the big personalities he's able to easily blend in. I'm hoping we get something good from him though.
Revali's been feeling terrified for the longest time and has been keeping his head down... hopefully that fear goes away/he gets some courage to do something.
Oven is the strangest fellow to talk to. I can't tell if he's secretly a genius or if he really just doesn't know what's happening.

(ftr, was writing this over the course of a while so this was a response to the bottom two posts on page 1)
That's... fair, to be honest. I realise I did a similar thing in voting you out, although I feel like there's a stark difference between not telling you that I'm voting for you, and leading someone on in the tied vote in order to try to coax items out of them. Like, I was on the receiving end of people telling me they'd be voting with me and voting for me instead, and I have been in that position plenty of times before. It never felt quite as bad as someone trying to manipulate you into giving up items when you're already going home. But maybe that's just my view on the whole thing.
There was a really similar moment in the latest Survivor season that I'm not going to spoil but that I think anyone who's watched it will know what I'm talking about. And it's pretty clear how much more manipulative it is than the standard gameplay.
I do apologise for the back and forth thing - I know it wasn't subtle and that it can't have been a good experience. That was a mixture of me not wanting to outright give you a name in case that was used as ammunition, and not wanting to tell you that you were going home in case *that* was used as ammunition. But I know I threw out the concept of alliances pretty frequently without actually fully committing to them.
@pat, I absolutely made stabs on people I had long-term investment in. I took out Teebo without even telling him what was up, despite me deciding in that first round that he was the player I wanted to go the distance with. I took out Pelison in the joint TC despite wanting to move forward with him as a solid ally. I was already making plans to potentially take you out when we re-merged from Master Sword, because being connected to you was going to get me killed otherwise. I try not to stab people I feel I'm allied to, but if not doing so would tank my game, I'll do it.

FWIW, while I liked Mipha and wish her the best, I definitely don't subscribe to "let's make sure she wins the game because she's one of us", I'm much more inclined to vote for people who were able to stay in the game and had agency.

Hey, I appreciate your response!! I totally get not wanting to tell someone you’re voting for them, there’s really no need to explain that at all. It was just annoying how literally every single person approached me first who to vote, I stuck my neck out there and gave a great effort to make something work with you, and then you and Horsey just kept pushing me off to the other haha. I am curious, though, why did you think voting me was the right call when I literally sought you out to make an alliance, made it clear I was an ally of your ally, AND answered every single one of your questions? I was pretty baffled that voting me out was the right call when clearly we were at a stage of the game where we needed to quit thinking round by round and actually building alliances that would be mutually beneficial?

@magda @peli - Sorry for jumping to conclusions on that. I think to some extent it's me still being a bit bitter about Mipha combined with not liking the idea of Redemption in general that's causing me to just focus on the few things I've seen here that I'm not a fan of.
@riju - I had four major alliances going into that tribe - the duo with Kohga (irrelevant to this), the anti-Revali squad (me/Patricia/Roscoe/Teebo, which was down to just me and Pat), Kakariko three (myself/Urbosa/Sidon), and the Joint TC people (Kakariko + Epona and Horse).
At the 15-person merge, when we found out who all was in each tribe, Urbosa came to me asking me to align with Hunnie and Patricia came to me asking me to align with you. And I was already solid with Horse, so it seemed like it was going to be an easy Pelison vote. But then I actually got talking to Pelison and I feel like we connected more than most players I'd talked to in the game. In general it was just a really hard round to make a decision about, but when I took out the factor of 'who do my old allies want me to work with' and went for 'who did I connect with most on this tribe', I felt like you were a bit below everyone else in terms of that. If I had to put my finger on exactly why, it was probably just that it took us so long to start actively discussing strategy, along with the fact that your messages felt a little over the top with all the exclamation marks. Which was probably just a personal quirk, but came off a bit... not very genuine, I guess.
Plus, Horse was willing to go for you, and Hunnie wasn't willing to go for Pelison, which probably would have tipped the scales even if I was wanting to vote Peli.

I should probably mention that about Kohga actually, we were working closely together throughout the whole game and he was fully in the loop about the Revali vote that turned into the Madga vote. He wasn't particularly happy about either of them, but he knew that fighting them would be potentially pretty dangerous so he just worked on setting himself up to be in good with everyone after the vote. Revali still doesn't know that, funnily enough
