Wow what a roller coaster. You've been on top, you've been on bottom, you've been voted out, you've won your way back into the game, and then you've been voted out again! You have had one of the wildest rides we've ever seen in a player and we were all here for it, of course with shiny awesome motorcycles!
It was endearing watching your journey from start to finish and being one of the last OG Courage players standing! Thank you for fighting and always striving to be the best version of yourself you could. It was entertaining and you certainly gave us a ride...on your motorcycle.
Welcome to the jury <3

I think when my pitch to keep me is "Look, I can blow things up to keep attention away from you", the writing was very much on the wall.
But I made the merge and quite frankly I don't think anybody ever saw that coming. I didn't even see that coming.
It didn't help that my subtle mischief hit the wrong people and so got blown up into "this guy is a scheming slimeball" so I sort of was constantly fluctuating between two extremes of "I want to sit here and talk with you while you've got this stuff going on IRL because I care about you and I'm prepared to vote with you on a human level," to "HAHAHAHA Y'ALL GONNA DIE!"
Which definitely makes it hard to figure out how viable working with me will be...

Also I'm sure I put this video somewhere but this was the most commonly played music during my time in the game:
It probably came across in my playstyle, now I think about it.

I just want to say I ranted about Avril to the mods, and then you started posting Avril songs and it was hilarious.

Oh...
So I went and read my PMs.
Five hours out I had an official flag that I was in danger. Had I woken up just an hour earlier I would've been safe.
sigh
It is what it is.

I think I just got more annoyed when realising that I had an advantage I could've played to stop it but oversleeping meant I couldn't do anything.
I had a cryosleep thing that meant at deadline the votes would be revealed but not cast, and another 24 hours would be added to deadline. I had the idea of using it to then yell "Vote the fuck for someone else" a la Brad Culpepper because I thought it'd be funny. But also then would breakdown every secret that I knew about the game and finish with "Oh, but you all said that I couldn't be trusted so never mind."
Instead I just went out quietly but hey. At least Urbosa didn't get to use me.
Currently my thoughts on the game:
Kohga and Sidon were relying heavily on me, both of them sent me PMs which are basically "we're voting this way for appearances, please tell us that you have an idol and can make something happen here but you're AWOL and we have no choice."
Mipha similarly was like "Oaki play your damn thing this isn't funny!" and seemed genuinely upset.
What's telling for me is that nobody wanted to vote Kass, and apparently they all told him that I was making the move on him. He's super likeable, even after he confronted me about throwing his name we could sit there laughing about how he didn't understand why everybody was defending him. He isn't sure why he's so likeable, but in my eyes that doesn't make him any less so.
I think that Oven honestly is my favourite to win here. He's even more of an underdog than I am, I relied on immunity wins to get to nine but his name is constantly coming up but nobody can get him out. Also he has an idol nullifier that nobody (left in the game) knows about. When we returned to the game we convinced everybody that as Chamber returnees we weren't allowed to win the rewards from Broth of the Weld. Instead he snagged his first preference item with a score of over 400 (he found an exploit to wall clip), and I snagged my second preference item (the cryosleep) with a score of 88 (I found an exploit involving the Fairly Bottle and Whim Waker). We both wanted the bomb because it sounded cool.
So I'm high-key expecting Oven to end up doing something kick-arse with that thing. Especially since Urbosa and Kass are likely going to be plotting after each other with it being public knowledge that Urbosa tried to screw him.
Oven is basically a subtler chaotic returnee. I'm 100% down to see him get to the end.

Jeebas, your scores. The rest of us topped out in the 30s. 34, 35, 36 iirc. What were the exploits?

Kass got 133 in the challenge, and has a vote stealer. My favourite to win is actually Mipha just because she has the strongest item I have heard of so far and an Idol. I don't know who has the last item from the weld tho.

Jeebas, your scores. The rest of us topped out in the 30s. 34, 35, 36 iirc. What were the exploits? I don't know how the wall clip worked, he just told me that he had no problems with it. The Fairly Bottle is (supposed) to give you a second life. If you hit something the bottle cracks and then the fairly pulls you along for a bit before giving you back control of the character. The problem is that with the lag, by the time you've regained control of Lonk you faceplant into the lava so the item appeared to just glitch out your game and then made you die about three-five seconds later than you actually did. The Whim Waker reverses gravity. So you run along the ceiling and your jumps move you toward the lava. So when the Fairly drops you, you land on the ceiling and don't die. So by the time the lag has caught up, you're just running along the ceiling harmlessly. Also the Whim Waker doubles the value of each rupee because being upside down is considered a penalty. My winning run I'm pretty sure the Whim Waker was the first item I got so I only really managed about 44 but got my score doubled. I'd be more than okay with Oven or Mipha winning, honestly. We went into this knowing it was a complex game and so I think that a returnee who's able to take advantage of the chaos and the twists is someone who's actually playing the complex game and not just adapting a classic "simple" game plan. I didn't know about Mipha's idol, but she showed me her Sparky Helmet of Truth which will reveal how many idols were found and how many idols were not found. So she'll be able to know if there are unfound idols she can lie about having when she uses it.

So the way the wall clip works:
When you jump in the glitched version of Floppy Lonk, Link doesn't move forward in a little curve like the bird normally does. He actually just warps from point A to point B. If you continually press the jump button Link continues to glitch forward and never touches any of the spaces between point A to point B. So if you do that for more jump space then a wall's width you just pass right through it.
The bigger exploit is that the Rupee's location doesn't determine how you get points. If you glitch through the wall on the same line as the Rupee appears it just gives you the point even if you're at the top of the screen. The easiest way for me to time it was about a link-space between the wall and then pressing five times to get to the other side. I tried using the Whim Waker for this because the timing works perfectly if you do it when the wall is in the space between Link and the other text, but I kept glitching into the lava after fairy bottles.
My best run used I think 5 Fairy Bottles. If you jump enough times the game gets really confused and sends you to a screen with no walls and a glitched background before it transitions into the next wall, so when you die you just have to jump dozens of times. I used the Majority Mask because it didn't matter if the spaces between walls got bigger when I was phasing through them anyways.

I didn't figure out any glitches but I got a pretty good score by using Internet Explorer - it didn't lag there. Still couldn't get anywhere with the Majority Mask so I had to skip that one.

I asked them about it and they said they picked the weird version on purpose. I'm personally glad it wasn't a normal flappy bird game? Anyone could have scored like that if they explored glitches enough.
