And not coming for them, it almost seems like Riju is more active now than she was when she was alive lol

So yeah seems like Revali may just go here. However, if Urbosa learns of it, decent chance she idols him I think.

I can't tell how much of a bad move letting Revali go is for people. It feels like it's a bad choice, but I can't fully explain *why* it feels like a bad choice. I think there's a few people who are going to need him if they're going to be able to do anything meaningful I suppose.
There's still a lot of time for this all to change, but I expect the person going home to be one of Revali, Kass, Oven. As much as the smart play is probably one of Epona or Sidon, I don't think anyone will do it. They're all playing really scared, and a lot of the people who would have to do it are all conflict adverse individuals too concerned about surviving the round rather than doing something that actually gives a decent path to the end.
Also, can we talk about how everybody thinks they can't win here?

I think it's a fabulous move for Epona, Sidon, and Kass to get rid of Revali. It's a horrible move for everyone else.
However it's extremely questionable whether the numbers are even there to save Revali, and that's because Urbosa and Revali screwed up letting Oaki go last round, like I've been saying. Urbosa can have all of the items in the world, but if you willingly give up social control, that's hard to recover from. Now she's dependent on figuring our people are voting Revali and idoling him correctly. As it stands, even if she gets to the end, it looks like she just handed away control and might get bailed out by items and Immunities.
I'm irritated by everyone thinking they can't win too, especially because the people they're eliminating seem to be the people they'd have a chance against in the end. So like, if you really think that, take actions to keep those people in the game even if it's scary and risks you dying immediately.
Khoga says he'll vote Revali and then flip to Oven/Urbosa next round, but like, Khoga, will the numbers even be there for you to do that? That's cutting it awfully close, especially since they all assume Kass has an idol too. If you really think going with Sidon, Kass, and Mipha is a losing path, take action against that.

It's just interesting that people like Urbosa and Khoga have good reads and seem aware of the problems with their games, but so far we've seen very little proactivity. Maybe all of the items have people afraid, but tbh apart from Revali/Sidon at the unmerge, this has been a super straightforward game with no items used particularly effectively, so they're just getting in their own heads about that.

It's getting so bad that I'm starting to worry that there isn't going to be a crazy blindside at F7

Major agree on this --- I feel like it's almost good advice to say "make the big move one round before you need to" but that's also super unsubstantiated, just feels like it's worked for me every time the based on my gut and personal experience

I mean it seems like Khoga/Sidon are saying they want to go for Epona next round, so that's something. Epona doesn't seem like a big enough character in the story for her blindside to be really exciting for me, though that's probably just because of her confessional.
At least if they go for Urbosa, she'll have things to counter them with.

Ep*na being blindsided 1 round before she can fulfill her only purpose of forcing rocks is probably the best arc you can hope for in a boring character like her
Or maybe we will have a cool civil war that breaks out with items and everything! who knows

This is doubly the case if you're someone like Khoga who a) has an idol, so therefore a way to bail yourself out even if everything goes wrong and b) presumably as a member of the Power tribe is decent at challenges and could win your way there if you need to. Like at that point, you don't need to time your moves perfectly, it's more important that you actually get to make them so you have some autonomy and carve your own path to the end.

But in general, if you're playing so that you're one good idol play (or tight alliance you're unaware of) away from losing the numbers, that's a problem

Okay but guys what's the most boring route forwards? I'm having trouble thinking of it myself.
F8 revali goes F7 ? F6 ? F5 is sidon/epona/kass/kohga/oven, everyone fights for the right to bring oven to endgame
except that's not going to happen because urbosa can use her psychic powers to survive F7 and F6 using her items

tbf oven being the merge boot was about to be a "big move" because he had "so many connections"
