So Link going worked out. I am not surprised to see votes for myself, I had heard from Kohga that Oaki was pitching me as a split vote target. Overall, the vote went pretty much as intended, so I can't really complain. I am also being voted for at each of the last 3 TCs I went to... which is odd. I think it may be because I'm kind of just ghosting the people that I'm voting off instead of trying overly hard to lie to them? I have been trying to play a much more honest game than I normally do, which has its benefits and drawbacks at the same time.
I noted in the last thread that Sidon thought I was targeting him. That has been smoothed over; apparently that was just Oaki trying to throw me under the bus pointlessly. I'm really not trusting Oaki at this point lol.
Mipha did not seem to want Link out, but I believe she and I are still good with each other. Mipha does not trust Royal at all. I am kinda fine with that? My main goal at this point is just to "keep my options open," and at this point, I feel like I either could swing for original Wisdom loyalty, or be closer to the Royal Horse side of things. I'm not really planning on making that choice until I need to.

Wait WTF we're voting someone else out? I was expecting some sort of twist but I can't say I was expecting this...

Since Oaki is immune, my preference for this vote would probably be Patricia. I have no idea if this is doable or if anyone else actually wants this, though.
Royal being immune also stinks, because any votes that might be going on him might be going on me instead. After all, they did decide to split votes between me and him...

Oaki is telling me that Revali wants to target me and is trying to recruit Kohga and Sidon. I asked Oaki about him targeting me last round and he seemed really open about wanting to work with me now. But it will take some time for me to put any amount of trust in Oaki. But I also don't trust Revali either.
I trust Kohga and Sidon more than either of them... so I'll see where I can go with that. Otherwise... I could be booted from this game the exact second that the Winners at War finale begins.

What's weird about this game is that I don't really have a close ally that I unequivocally trust over all others, or if I do, this person seems to change practically every day. Like just a few days ago I was wary of Sidon but now I feel like I trust him a lot. Yesterday, I was putting all my trust in Mipha and now I'm not entirely sure where she stands. At different points in the past, I probably would have named my closest allies as Urbosa, Kohga, or Pelison. This game has been a wild ride.

I'm probably playing harder this round than I have in this game so far. I feel like my time could be cut short tonight or possibly some time very soon. I have heard that it is between me and Oven, but I am also throwing Revali's name out there like wildfire, which is probably against my best judgment. A better move might have been to just be quiet and let Oven take the fall (hopefully) but I guess that's not my style.
Also, there's a very solid chance that I'm just allowing myself to get manipulated by Oaki into flaming out dramatically, despite knowing what a schemer that guy is.

So I guess the Revali vote probably isn't happening, since Epona might not be on board? But Epona also says she doesn't want to vote Oven... so I have no idea what will actually happen tonight. But given how aggressive I've been in spreading Revali's name around, I wouldn't be surprised if the target ends up being me tonight instead of Oven. If it's me, I had a good run and this was fun. And I also spent about 6 hours today on this game which is way past my own healthy recommended amount! Screw your back-to-back Tribals!
When I look at the votes, though... I don't really see 7 people who want to vote me off? But then I'm like... how much do I really trust Kass, or Kohga, or Mipha? This game is difficult.

So change in plans, but apparently Epona and Royal want to target Patricia instead. I barely know Patricia so this is fine with me. Get Oven, Urbosa, Sidon, and possibly Oaki on board and we got this. I feel bad since I will likely lose trust with Mipha and Urbosa over this, but we will see where this goes.
I'm kind of... okay with being voted off at any time now, so I'm kind of done playing cautiously. I felt pretty stupid last night over this game because I kept getting mixed messages from Oaki and Revali and I just felt like I was being manipulated and pulled each way. Then I had Mipha telling me "don't listen to Oaki, he's lying" but at the same time telling me that Revali and Kass voted for me last round, which is the same thing that Oaki said. Like geez, pick an argument lol.
After all this, though, I feel moderately safe? I think a fair amount of people have me in their mind as a critical swing vote between these two warring factions. But voting out Patricia will draw a line in the sand which will make things a little more interesting to navigate going forward.
Or... possibly, Patricia doesn't go and the majority still goes for Oven. This would be bad. Or the majority instead goes for me, which means I get to take this loss and move on. I'm sure there are some people out there still Edge of Extinctioning but screw all that. If I'm voted out, I'm pulling a Sandra and I'm done.

At this point, I'm being told that the vote is being debated between Patricia and Mipha. Do people really not have their minds made up 26 minutes before the deadline?
It could be Patricia, or Mipha, or Oven, or maybe it's just me.

Patricia send out a last minute PM telling me to vote Sidon and that items are being played. I'm not gonna do that, we'll see where this goes.

Saas’ Saasy Solicitations
Hello there! Well done on not being one of the first two boots of merge! That would have been extremely embarrassing for you.
1. From your point of view, please summarize what went down last round. What did you think was happening at the time, and how does that compare to what actually happened? Did you expect Mipha to go home? Did you expect Patricia to play her idol? How much influence do you think you had over the way the votes ultimately went and on the outcome?
2. Who do you think is on the top of this game, and who do you think is on the bottom? Would you place yourself on the top, on the bottom, or neither, and why? If you are on the top, what are you going to do to maintain your power? If you are on the bottom, what are you going to do to change your position?
3. At this point in time, on a scale of 1-100, how likely do you think you are to win the game? What steps do you need to take to improve those odds? What pitfalls do you need to avoid to prevent those odds from lowering?
4. Rank the other ten players from who you trust the most to who you trust the least. Please include explanations about what makes each player (un)trustworthy.
5. If I allowed you to bet $100 on whether or not you’d make it to a given placement in the game, what’s the lowest placement I’d need to suggest in order for you to accept the bet? For example, if you think you’re going to be eliminated right now, you’d say 11. If you’re convinced that you’re going to win, you’d say 1. If you think the odds are good that you’ll make it to final six but you’re less sure about final five, you might answer 6. How low do I have to go for you to be comfortable? Please explain your answer. Note: I am making no such bets. I am but a humble shrine. Support your local shrines.
That’s all for now! The spectators love you…r pain and suffering, so keep it up! Remember everything you do is pointless because no matter how good you are, you're probably going to fail anyway.
