What's weird about this game is that I don't really have a close ally that I unequivocally trust over all others, or if I do, this person seems to change practically every day. Like just a few days ago I was wary of Sidon but now I feel like I trust him a lot. Yesterday, I was putting all my trust in Mipha and now I'm not entirely sure where she stands. At different points in the past, I probably would have named my closest allies as Urbosa, Kohga, or Pelison. This game has been a wild ride. some experimental evidence from the field |

when was the last low-swap game RPG was the most recent Survivor game on-site last summer, and it had one swap, so that. |

I generally prefer games with fewer swaps too for that very reason though, when you have a lot of swaps things tend to stabilize fairly early in the merge, and it can make the merge less exciting. Plus I think it's narratively more satisfying, like as a spec I've been really paying attention and checking this game almost every day, and I still can't remember who was on which swap tribes because there were so many.
At the same time though, I definitely think having many swaps suits the chaotic vibe this game was going for, though tbh it would have been just as bastard to leave the tribes divided in Power, Courage and Wisdom until merge and have no swaps at all with the current meta lol. I find that when things get super chaotic, calm emerges from that chaos and players play more conservatively, which is what's happening right now. The many swaps combined with all of the items and the returning players have made things really static, and I hope that someone is willing to disrupt that stasis.

And I'm not criticizing the game either. I think you guys had a very clear vision, and that has come through, but all of those choices are necessarily tradeoffs.
