Soooo... Pat was panicking about Horse having thrown her name out and I kinda thought, I have this weak item that would be perfect to assuage that, and giving it to her would probably lock in her opinion of me as someone she can 100% trust. I made an impulse decision on that front and I'm already thinking ugh, that was not something I should have done. So long story short, I don't have Daruk's anymore =/ But on the plus side, I think I have a good relationship with someone I already had a good relationship with. I can be really dumb when I make spur of the moment decisions sometimes >.> Bullshit, Kass. Bullshit. You wanted to cover your ass in case things didn't go according to your plan. Don't pretend like this was some impulsive decision — everything you do is calculated. Every word. Every play. You probably voted Hunnie just to cause chaos as well. When someone shows you who they are — be it in a Large Social Game or in life — believe them. Kass just showed me who he was in this game. Don't tell me you were excited that reward could keep the "core four" safe when you CLEARLY had other intentions from the start. I'm feeling safe because I have the necklace, but I'm also feeling very unsafe. I can assume that Patricia voted Oven since she had the half idol. But... that means that two people independently of us came up with a safe vote and nobody can give me a name (or names) as to who thought Hunnie was a safe vote. So like... we've got a pair that I think needs to be broken, or a secret alliance that are abnormally tight lipped. So while I'm safe tonight, I'm not sure if I'm safe long term since I clearly wasn't in the loop. You and Kass deserve each other. You are terrible liars. omg URBOSA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Urbosa is so by far my favorite in this whole cast. Just a gem.

If people go down the path of just booting Oven or Hunnie here and hoping that somehow lets them into the cool kids group, they are going to regret it. They've already screwed up by booting Link though so they might not have the numbers to do anything until most if not all of them are dead.
Things are especially dire for Oaki/Oven/Hunnie/RWH/Mipha. All of their numbers are going to be called unless they do something, and I think they should be able to recognize it. Maybe not RWH, but everyone else has to know something is up. Unfortunately there seems to be too much in-fighting for them to work something out. They probably should be trying to pull in Patty too, since really she benefits more and has a much better chance to win working with this side of things.
Khoga/Sidon/Kass/Urbosa/Epona might have some issues with each other, but I don't think any of them are prepared to make a move any time soon, and that's a problem for all of those people because until a move is made, they're just going to be picked off, and with such a big merge, that could go on for a while.

I really just want Oaki to take advantage of being Immune and fight to make something happen, but I don't think he's going to. I don't know what future he can possibly see with the people who voted him out before and those who staunchly defend them still in game and forming a bigger and bigger majority.

Lol Oaki saying "Sidon took it from me" about the legacy advantage as if he didn't willingly give it to Sidon lol.

I don't quite understand your post saas - what are you trying to say?
Oaki/Oven/Hunnie/Pat/RWH/Mipha indeed are in the red, that is a sad 5/12 right now in terms of numbers (6/12 if you toss in patricia) --- what are you saying about picking people off? Who is that bad for, the people on top?

And yes I realize doing something might not be possible and it could blow up in the face of whoever attempts it, but the alternative is just tucking your head under your wing and doing nothing. And then all of a sudden, the numbers won't be there to make anything happen at all, and you'll be entirely at the whims of the people who have been in control the entire game, in Oaki's case the very people who previously voted you out. Yes, maybe they will use whoever is left at some point to make a move against each other, but sitting tight and hoping for that isn't a plan, it's a prayer. It gives you no agency over your fate in the game. It is not a viable strategy. And the odds that you will be one of those lucky remnants that gets scooped up aren't great anyway.

Who is that bad for, the people on top? Oh no, the people on the top benefit. I think the people on the bottom are playing super passively, and this is the point where you need to be aggressive. Like I'm aware the likely outcome is just getting targeted, and it isn't like the numbers are there for them to do anything, but at the same time...they don't really seem to be even trying to pull something better off. 5 or 6 out of 12 is at the point where with the right amount of work and social ability, you can still turn the tides before it's too late, and it seems like instead they're just happy to target each other. And the people on top haven't exactly been subtle about it, so it's just frustrating. Ideally you have someone in the majority you're really really emotionally close to and you can pull that person over to your side, but you need to have been putting in the work all game for that to work, and I don't know that these people have been. RWH might have a chance with Epona though, that's probably their best bet. Pull in Epona and Revali.

I definitely do think the right person could break up the majority group because these people aren't in love with each other, they're kind of just defaulting to being together because no one is proposing anything better. But the people in the minority need to step it up and actually be the agents of that chance

But the people in the minority need to step it up and actually be the agents of that chance this is 100% right. there is no 'group' imho there are no bonds everyone has just been smushed together in an advantage-laden scrambled environment. it's just [vague gesturing]--the issue of course is that it's [vague gesturing] for everyone which makes it harder to realise

I'm concerned. Horse has told me that people are saying that I'm up to something. I... genuinely don't understand how that's possible. I didn't tell anyone that I was up to something other than Sidon. Sidon is the only person that could be spilling the beans. I sure hope not. Otherwise somebody has it in for me. without comment

Exactly correct. Every "solid alliance" had someone die or alienate themselves already (riju from zora 3, horse from the flying horsemen, kass vs. urbosa in the core 4). So the game is just a bunch of individual bonds, and the consequence of that is that people with the least bonds are getting targeted.
Really the people on the bottom should be trying to break things up, but I don't think they really have the information to do so...? All the cool kids might have secret desire to stab each other, but they all have enough restraint that they're saving it for later.
It also doesn't help that the game has had everybody meet each other, which imo encourages the sort of one sided cool kids vs. uncool kids dynamic that you also see in big brother games IRL where the cool kids usually kinda chill while the uncool kids cannibalize themselves until well after jury starts. More freedom to choose allies means the good players will congregate, and the weak players will dislike each other for being loose lipped/crazy/bad socially, and look up to the big boys. Whereas a lower swap survivor game usually has stronger players gunning for each other earlier primarily because they haven't met yet.
That's not a criticism of the game or format, just an observation. It's a different kind of dynamic to navigate.
