I do not believe for a second that this is the merge tribe. Something strange is going to happen.

Not a submission, just holding a moment of silence for the run it took 12 hours to achieve and then got wiped because I accidentally clicked on the scoring screen

Saas’ Saasy Solicitations
Hi there! Saas here. Congrats so much on making it to the merge! I’m incredibly proud of you. Or I will be proud of you if you answer my solicitations thoroughly, so make your responses good!
1. How do you react to Oaki and Ancient Oven returning to the game? Is this good or bad for your game? Do you think it could be a revolving door where the returning players are immediately targeted, or do you think Oaki and Ancient Oven will be able to integrate into the existing alliance structure?
2. There are many potential items either already introduced or soon to be introduced to the game. How does this change your strategy? What items, if any, do you know about, and how do you plan to use them or play around them?
3. The merge vote is often a crucial round that can set the pace for the rest of the game. What options do you think will be on the table? Is there anyone in particular you want to target? How are you going to make the merge work to your advantage?
4. With so many swaps, are tribal lines still something you’re thinking about? What tribal lines, if any, do you see mattering moving forward?
5. Endgame is a long way off, but are you thinking about it at all? Of the 13 players left, who can see yourself sitting next to in the end, and who do you definitely want to avoid sitting next to? Why? What steps are you going to take to get there with the people you want to be with and to avoid getting there with the people you don’t want to be with?
Thanks in advance for your insights, and good luck moving forward in the game! Defeat is coming inevitably toward all but one of you, but fight and do your best to not make too much of a fool of yourself.

Trying to keep the graph as clean as possible, so I erased all but essential details. I'll answer the questions and give updates on what exactly is the situation on the tribe soon. Boxes are alliances (generally only the ones including myself, but I have added the Revali/Horse/Epona box too for a reason we'll come to later). Green lines are tight twosomes who aren't together in any alliance with me - there's a case for Horse/Hunnie/Myself as an alliance given we declared it one back on Orb, but I have reason to believe that is no longer in place. My own one on one relationships with people are indicated by the circle in the corner. Red means outright enemy (thankfully, none of those right now); Green means solid ally I trust, Yellow means not enough information to judge (or in the case of Revali, an enemy I trust due to a mutual understanding), Orange means a player I am working with but intensely distrust.

1. You’ve made the merge, congratulations! How does it feel to know that after all of your swaps you have finally reached this point? Does it make it feel any longer knowing you’ve only gone through 5 rounds of this game so far?! How many more rounds do you feel you have left? I still do not believe this is the final merge. I suppose we shall see what will happen. Going through 5 rounds with absolutely no target forming on my back and maintaining the level of control I have is actually quite incredible play on my part, so I am feeling good and confident going forward. The number of rounds left; there will likely be a fair few. 2. You’ve had time to chat with most of the rest of the people in the game at this point. Is there anyone you haven’t met yet? If so, do you plan to try to reach out and see where their head is at? Either way, how do you plan to navigate this tangled web of a merge? Link and Mipha were the only two players I had not actively met, and I immediately made the connections through talking about the joint TC with Link and by connecting to Mipha through Patricia. My plan involves knowing where everyone's heads are at constantly so it is important to maintain a level of connection to every player, or at the very least have a close ally with a strong connection to them. My plan for navigating the merge is to maintain control without appearing to maintain control, through making myself the center of an information web that will allow me to see any threats approaching long before they get a chance to even become a threat. 3. How do you feel about the new mod names and avatars? Do you think these are here to stay for the rest of the game, or are we simply trolling you? Speaking of trolling, what has been your most favorite thing so far this game that we have done?! Most likely, we are going to unmerge and come back to a standard tribe. We shall see though, I am prepared for any eventuality. My most favourite thing you have done is accept my application to play in this game, because the moment you did so, you granted me victory. 4. Are you shocked by the Pelison boot? If so, what did you expect to happen instead? If not, what about Pelison do you think made him an ideal target for the other 5 who attended that tribal? No. Nothing else. And he put too much of a target on his back in Round 1 and made himself the easy vote. I am rather amused that he apparently thinks I put more effort into saving him than I actually did, and I shall use that to my advantage should he ever return to the game. 5. 4 Items up for grabs here, but very cryptic names, what do you think each item does? Oh speaking of items, what’s the current gossip? Who's got items? Where have items been found? How many do you think are in the game? Magnesis is a Steal a Vote. Bomb sounds interesting and I am disappointed that I didn't get it. Hunnie says that Stasis is useless, simply allows her to see what a challenge is ahead of time, but I do not particularly believe her. Supposedly Link's idol came from the capital letters, and Mipha's came from the round 1 challenge advantage. I believe Magda was likely sent packing with ours given she is supposedly beasting Redemption and gave a strangely high number for her time taken to complete that challenge. Where the Courage one is, I am unsure; people believe Link has that one also, but I am considering possibilities that it may be elsewhere. 6. Who are the biggest threats/goats and who do you like/dislike? The biggest goat is Link. The second biggest goat is Oaki. The third biggest goat is Oven. The fourth is Hunnie. I do not particularly care for discussion of 'threats' in the sense of FTC threats, because I know if I make it there I will win regardless of who is there with me. This has already been confirmed to me by Oaki, as to the way the current eliminated players view me; he has agreed not to share that information with anyone for the time being and I will blindside him before he can do so. Likes and dislikes are completely irrelevant to that game at this point. Would you ever not put your opponent in checkmate because you disliked the look of your Rook, and wanted your Bishop to take the King instead? It matters not to me which pieces are ugly and which are pristine, what matters is whether they are my pieces.

Instead of like and dislike, think of it as "Intend to oppose the elimination of" and "Enthusiastic about the elimination of".
But you need not answer that, your chart gives more than enough information.

1. How do you react to Oaki and Ancient Oven returning to the game? Is this good or bad for your game? Do you think it could be a revolving door where the returning players are immediately targeted, or do you think Oaki and Ancient Oven will be able to integrate into the existing alliance structure? It is more amusing than anything. Oaki in particular is causing some chaos due to how he has approached the subject of his former Stamina Vessel friends in Sidon and Kohga. I will not allow him to send them home (yet, anyway) but the amount of attention he is drawing is excellent for my game, as it draws attention away from me. I have been adding some of my own fuel to the fire, informing Sidon that Oaki was attempting to get the Legacy Advantage back specifically so that he could blindside Sidon here. I have no idea whether this is true or not - it could be - but I stated that he had talked about it with me when he had in fact not. It is important that, even if they don't target one another at this tribal, they are as far from making amends as possible and view one another as untrustworthy. The more the tribe is divided, the easier it is to completely control. It is possible they get revolving door'd, although I'm inclined to believe they will survive at least initially. If one were to be eliminated I would want it to be the less chaotic one (Oven) so that Oaki remains here as a tool I can use for driving more wedges into the tribe. 2. There are many potential items either already introduced or soon to be introduced to the game. How does this change your strategy? What items, if any, do you know about, and how do you plan to use them or play around them? I plan to have enough information that I don't need to play around items. Ideally, if someone is using an item, they will tell me about it. I do not think that's possible for every player, but I can get as close to it as possible and use basic strategy (keeping oneself out of crosshairs) to play around the rest insofar as I can. Hunnie supposedly has an item that allows her to see a future challenge, which I'm not sure I believe. Khoga and Epona have half idols, and Sidon has a Legacy Advantage. Aside from this I am relatively clueless on where they went. 3. The merge vote is often a crucial round that can set the pace for the rest of the game. What options do you think will be on the table? Is there anyone in particular you want to target? How are you going to make the merge work to your advantage? Right now, the main option out there is Link, as that is who Oaki pivoted towards when I told him to stop targeting Sidon. I do not have a problem with Link going home and I may let this one play out by itself, as if I establish any kind of divisive majority and then swap into new tribes, that could leave me in a particularly difficult position. If I had my pick of any, I would likely eliminate Hunnie. I believe she is likely to fly under the radar while being relatively tight with both Horse and the Wisdoms, which is enough that soon there may not be a chance to take a shot at her. She is definitely goat material as of right now, and I do not want goat material near my endgame. It will make my job more difficult. 4. With so many swaps, are tribal lines still something you’re thinking about? What tribal lines, if any, do you see mattering moving forward? Tribal lines are always going to matter, insofar as they are converted into alliances. I think the most likely to pose a problem to me are the 5 Wisdom players, and the Epona/Horse/Revali group from the last swap. The former is too large for a group that does not include me, and the latter is troubling me for other reasons I will get back to in a future post. Ideally, none of the goats will be present in my endgame. I want a situation where players consider everyone left to be a threat to win, and will not realise that I am the bigger threat. Outside of this, I do not mind who I sit next to, but right now the logical path seems to get me to the end with Kohga and Sidon, as they are centrally positioned with me and are both likely to consider friendships over threat level once we get there. As for the steps I will take to do so, I will make sure that who I want to go home goes home each round. You will see that this will not be difficult.

The Horse Saga
I'll just tell you, I've now checked in with sidon about it and it seems like it's not just me who thought it was strange. Horse seems to be trying to form an alliance by way of telling everyone involved that it "seems like it's happening" and i was like huh? who? what? and that alliance was largely people who like you afaik but it didn't include you and did include revali. i would like you two bird dudes to not try to kill each other at least right away, that would be inconvenient. anyway, it'll be interesting to see who leaks this to you, haha. urbosa was like not sure if she should leak it to you or not but she was definitely thinking about it; given that it doesnt seem like anyone knew he was going to suggest this before he did, im guessing most of us may feel a bit spoken for which means it's unlikely to hold for long. it's worth noting that horse pitched different opinions about you; to me he said "kass and hunnie could be swing votes" and to urbosa he said "hunnie could be a swing vote and kass is a big threat." i think he's overplaying right now in more ways than just that, so it might not be something you need to even do anything about. Horse felt very distant at merge already, which I initially attributed to inactivity but which I now believe is because he is now more distant. Specifically, his time spent with Revali may have given him more of a hint about the way I am playing this game than most anyone else in this game has figured out. Or at the very least, has made him realise I am not someone he can afford to work with long term. The 'secondhand' person here is Horse:
So everything I heard from Kohga when I met him on Stamina was very open to having a good relationship with you. That's the good side of your Power peeps. Revali on the other hand told me that he was still open to hashing things out with you but then I heard secondhand that he's said he thinks YOU were the actual string puller on Power from the beginning. So that doesn't exactly jive. Horse spreading this around was worrying to me, as that tribal is one of the more messy parts of my game and is something that could well result in me being targeted if used effectively. Thankfully, there is an easy way to negate any damage he could try to do with that - if anyone wanted to go after me for this reason, they would go to Revali about it, and if Revali was against it there is no chance they could effectively use that reason. So I both shut down the problem, and used it as a way to reconnect with Revali: But secondly, I did want to actually talk some genuine game with you if you're down. Because I know right now my PMs are really awful and short and probably don't give off the impression of someone actually looking to work with you. It's not because I don't want to work with you, it's because I'm really terrible at figuring out how to talk about moving past stuff like that. For the most part, I haven't talked about you with anyone so far. Where I have I've said that I had a conversation with you about things when we met up last time, and I'm hoping to continue that conversation now. But people have been *trying* to talk to me about you, and I think specifically they've been trying to point me at you for the merge vote. I've heard that you're painting me as some kind of evil mastermind who controlled the whole of Power tribe, and it's been insinuated that you're coming after me here. I've tried to wave off all of that and act uninterested, because I don't want people to pile in on that and try to force the vote to be between you and I. Obviously I'm not uninterested, I'm actually really, really worried that it's going to happen anyway. Is there any chance that, even if you're not feeling like we can fully move past round one and work together, we can at least work together on making sure that isn't a thing that happens? I think whichever of us would end up getting sent home by it, it likely ends the game for the other just by the target it puts on their back.
And it worked wonders. First off who is talking about that and insinuating that because that is not true, I'm coming after you, coming after you here would be a dumb move that puts us both in a bad position [..] I certainly haven't been calling you an evil mastermind, the most I've done is repeat what you said about liking Teebo to people when talking about tribe 2/the swap [..] I don't want merge target to fall on one of us cause it disadvantages both of us (and now I'm seeing you actually put that in your PM, smart bird). But I guess that means that in order to avoid one of us being the target we need to push the target onto someone else, any thoughts? But that's fair, I haven't said a name so far (and sounds like you haven't either) so let's keep it that way. But yeah if someone brings up voting you to me I'll brush it off since it seems people read too much into my reactions before. It at least can work until we know there's a vote for sure, and then we just, don't say the other as a target. So with that problem no longer a problem, I can rest easy for the time being. It gives me a good amount of time to think about how (and when) I want to make our Horse friend into a much more useful gluestick. According to Kohga, Horse is attempting to set up an alliance of 6, which is the same alliance of 6 I currently have (the blue box on my sheet) but minus myself and plus Revali. He is attempting to paint me as a threat in order to set up a boot further down the line. Now, I believe these players are more loyal to me than they are to him, but the only one to have actively brought it up to me so far is Kohga, which is rather irritating. I think they are concerned I will try to go after Horse and damage the current alliance we have. My strategy for dealing with this mainly consists of undermining him and waiting for the correct moment to strike. I already have evidence that Horse is lying to allies to conceal his intentions: It does seem like Link and Patty are the two big name suggestions so far, which bodes well for us (I think? You're not close to Patty, are you?)! I had not heard about this vote prior to his message, so I asked Kohga about it: Here's where I first heard of it: I does appear like Oaki and Oven have been curved slightly into the path of voting Link or Patty, as that's already what the majority of people have been telling them. I've kind of been spreading that I heard that, but now that I think about it, this could be Horse assuming his way to to the truth again, like he did with "it seems like this alliance of six is coming together" when it wasn't.
Began at Horse, with Horse claiming it began elsewhere. This is the kind of duplicity I am going to raise concerns about within our alliance - nothing outright saying I distrust Horse, but mentioning to them that Horse was where I first heard about this vote to get them thinking about the fact that was where they first heard it, too. I am going to slowly and silently sow seeds of distrust into the minds of every person he believes himself to be aligned with, so that I will not necessarily even have to make the move against him - when he decides the time is right to try to strike me down, every person he talks to about it will come to me and tell me. And every one of those people will vote against him instead.
For now, I shall wait. And watch him with interest.

Epona is the real wildcard I need to lock in my alliance with right now. The plan was to form a trio with her and Kohga where it felt like she was the connecting piece, and we've been kind of tiptoeing around that suggestion for a while now to the point where it's basically in place already but still isn't entirely official.
It feels like I'm not quite as close with her as I was back during the Teebo vote, and that's something I really need to rectify if I'm not going to lose her when I eventually take out Horse. She seemed pretty downcast about not winning anything on the challenge, so by sending her an item that I likely don't need anyway, I can hopefully make her feel that I'm solidly with her going forward.

I believe I've successfully locked in Epona as a long term ally by giving her the steal-a-vote. And she appears to be the kind of player who will be honest about it and would only use it with discussion, so unless I have significantly misread her intentions, I believe that was an excellent move. I have also approached her about the duplicity of her Horse friend, and she has admitted to not being comfortable with what he is doing and would apparently not be too upset to see him go home; but she does not want to directly break her word to him. That's extremely promising and makes me think keeping Horse around isn't a massive problem.
In terms of the vote itself, I have given the vote-negator to Patricia to lock in that alliance further and make her view me as her #1 option to move forward with. I do not intend to keep her in the game forever, but given the Redemption twist, I believe she is an extremely strong contender for returning to the game at a very late stage, and if that should happen, I want her to be trying to get me to the end. She is currently quite paranoid about Horse throwing her name around, so the vote-negator is something she will really appreciate, disproportionately to its actual power.
I am in an interesting position where I believe people view me to be part of Patricia's alliance, now. If she plays Daruk's, that impression will solidify. I am okay with this - it shields my connections with the people I actually want to move forward with, and will make me look like a free agent to the others when Patricia inevitably gets sent packing.

Saas’ Saasy Solicitations
Hello there! Well done on not being one of the first two boots of merge! That would have been extremely embarrassing for you.
1. From your point of view, please summarize what went down last round. What did you think was happening at the time, and how does that compare to what actually happened? Did you expect Mipha to go home? Did you expect Patricia to play her idol? How much influence do you think you had over the way the votes ultimately went and on the outcome?
2. Who do you think is on the top of this game, and who do you think is on the bottom? Would you place yourself on the top, on the bottom, or neither, and why? If you are on the top, what are you going to do to maintain your power? If you are on the bottom, what are you going to do to change your position?
3. At this point in time, on a scale of 1-100, how likely do you think you are to win the game? What steps do you need to take to improve those odds? What pitfalls do you need to avoid to prevent those odds from lowering?
4. Rank the other ten players from who you trust the most to who you trust the least. Please include explanations about what makes each player (un)trustworthy.
5. If I allowed you to bet $100 on whether or not you’d make it to a given placement in the game, what’s the lowest placement I’d need to suggest in order for you to accept the bet? For example, if you think you’re going to be eliminated right now, you’d say 11. If you’re convinced that you’re going to win, you’d say 1. If you think the odds are good that you’ll make it to final six but you’re less sure about final five, you might answer 6. How low do I have to go for you to be comfortable? Please explain your answer. Note: I am making no such bets. I am but a humble shrine. Support your local shrines.
That’s all for now! The spectators love you…r pain and suffering, so keep it up! Remember everything you do is pointless because no matter how good you are, you're probably going to fail anyway.

I have fallen significantly behind in my confessional coverage of this game, so I shall give a brief overview of the last two rounds here.
Firstly, we had the Mipha boot. This round began with a solid easy vote on Oven and the countervote being Revali, something I discussed with Oaki and which I said I would be happy with but would not get involved with due to the potential of it bringing round 1 problems up. That felt like a reasonable situation for me, so I left it at that, but the next morning I was getting interesting and conflicting information.
Kohga had mentioned wanting to get rid of Mipha if it was a possibility, which I had no problem with but which didn't seem worth upsetting the current state of events to try to make happen. However, Epona and Revali also approached me that morning saying that the vote was Patricia and that support for the Oven wagon had disintegrated - Revali was rather more to the point than Epona was, saying that if I were to 'tell the right people' that I wanted Mipha gone, the vote would switch to that; eventually Epona got to the point of saying that too.
I threw my weight behind it, as I value Patricia as an asset far more than Mipha. Initially it appeared to be working, but then the votes began to move back to Patricia, with Epona and Kohga warning me that the majority was going that way and Revali claiming that 'some votes could go to Patricia but we should still be fine'. It was fairly clear Revali was setting up a split vote, so I tipped off Patricia as to what was going on, painting it as myself being very much on the outside with her but thinking we need to go Mipha or she was going to go.
I knew Patricia had an idol, because Sidon had told me, even though Pat herself had not. I had to wait until she mentioned it to me to actually start talking about it, but once she did, I told her to play it on herself. She got the idea that it must have been Sidon trying to flush her idol, as he was the only person who knew, and tried to get together a push to go after him, but I was well aware that was never going to work and I did not want to lose Sidon anyway so I held firm on Mipha. And Mipha went.
Later Revali apologised for leaving me out of the know in terms of the split vote, which made me chuckle. Literally everyone else who knew had told me, and he still assumed I didn't know. Rather amusing on the face of it.
