Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
This tribe is utter perfection. I get to reconnect with Kohga, who apparently has received half an idol from Epona, solidifying that as a trio I go forward with and one that has a huge amount of power in this game. I get to reconnect with Urbosa, who I don't particularly trust right now but maybe this will be the opportunity to bring her into the fold.
Most importantly, these two are players who I can easily, easily, get to vote with me regardless of which tribe we end up going to TC with. Which makes me think - is there any disadvantage to going to TC? Being able to connect with 5 people rather than just 2 is a huge advantage, as is making the decision about who goes home.
The only downside is a potential idol, which is very likely out there now given that the capital E disappeared from the header - but I would not be the god that I am if a simple idol could depose me. I think this is the moment to seriously consider throwing, and not just consider it personally - this is something I need to convince the other two to do with me.

Maybe. I hope so. It's a move I can't go for unless I can convince them to want it, because otherwise doing so puts me in danger, but I do have a good amount of time to talk them round.
It really depends how safe they feel, and how much they value keeping allies safe over making 100% sure they themselves are safe.

And it's not a dumb idea at all! I think it's good to weigh options just to see what we're all thinking. I personally would prefer to go for immunity here, though, as there are too many unknown variables — the potential for advantages, idols, and/or twists the Guides have yet to reveal — that could lead to a situation where we may think we have the numbers to execute a plan only to have that fall apart in front of us. I think the potential risk of going to TC with only six people and having something go wrong outweighs potential rewards here. How many times do we see a tribe or individuals throw challenges in the show only to have those people walk out of the game, you know? That might be an incoherent mess (I stayed up way too late last night), but I think we can better help Sidon by ensuring we are there to regroup with him come a merge scenario. This is the response of a coward, especially the last line. We could make the play to ensure our allies are safe, or we could sit back and hope that they get lucky. The latter 'better helps' said ally? Really?
Urbosa has disappointed me immensely with this. It is a reasonable strategy to value your own safety over all else and never take a risk that might help your game; it is the strategy of a goat, but it is a reasonable one nonetheless. Spouting said strategy as being for the benefit of one's allies is ridiculous, though.

Hmm. I'm generally opposed to the idea, but there are extenuating circumstances. My kneejerk reaction is to say "please no, I need a break" - having been to the maximum possible number of tribals this game and all - but that's not super rational. I wouldn't say I trust Urbosa yet - the conversation is going well, it's just still new - but I don't have any reason not to either. It hadn't occurred to me, but you're right, Sidon really doesn't want to lose here and it could actually be worth tanking this. That's something to think about. It feels potentially greedy, and what if we run into an idol or some other TC peril, but maybe this is one of those go big or go home things. In short, I'm open to it and can see the benefits for sure. Maybe that's not a committal enough answer but that's how I feel!
And this is why Kohga is a much better ally. Clearly not much of a fan of the idea and doesn't want to commit to it, but when he says he's considering it he actively does so and looks at the ways it could be good for our games, rather than defaulting to thinking of his own safety and trying to just make points against it.
I don't fault Kohga or Urbosa for being hesistant, as it's a big step to take if you're not as confident in your position as I am. But these two messages alone show that Kohga is long-term ally material and Urbosa is someone who should be eliminated the moment she is no longer useful to me.

I'm thinking of just letting fate decide on the challenge. Our maze strikes me as kind of bad, so let's just let it be bad, try to win, and if we don't then so be it? So it shall be. I feel that not throwing this is a mistake that could cost us Sidon, but in reality Urbosa's cowardice means attempting to talk her around to that fact would be a pointless waste of time that could jeopardise her loyalty to me. Throwing without involving her would also jeopardise said loyalty, so instead I will attempt to do it subtly - taking slightly longer on the mazes than I could, without taking so long as to arouse suspicion. Leaving our maze as is should help too, as Urbosa did most of the design (hence why most of it is so badly designed, the correct path being extremely obvious in places and the whole thing failing to make use of the fact they can't cross diagonals) so she only has herself to blame for the other tribes completing it so quickly.
I am contemplating sabotaging the maze at the last second by deleting the contents of a cell to allow for a much easier route, but this may be noticed and could annoy both Kohga and Urbosa, so I am leaning towards not doing that.

The Plan™
If we go to Tribal with Ruta, we team up with Pelison and take out one of Patricia/Link. This shouldn't be too hard of a sell, especially if the elimination were to be Patricia. I'm not sure Pat actually needs to be eliminated - it sounds like she and Kohga are at odds, which means they won't compare stories of that first TC - but given I already have to explain eliminating Riju to her, it might be better to cut her off completely.
If we go to Tribal with Rudania, keeping Sidon safe becomes the #1 priority. Sidon, myself and Kohga should be able to easily stick together on the vote, then we just need to pull in any one of the Wisdoms and take out any one of the other Wisdoms. The preferred vote would be Mipha but it doesn't really matter if it ends up being Hunnie or Urbosa instead.
If we go to Tribal with Medoh, it's a bit more of an awkward situation. Obviously I want Revali out from a personal standpoint, but Revali is close to Kohga and Revali is likely to hear about and pass on any attempt to vote me out in the future, which means I would hear about it through Kohga. He could be an immensely valuable asset in that respect, so I'm considering that the best option should we go to that TC is taking out Urbosa. I don't think Horse would complain, Kohga is already on board, and I feel like Epona would likely fall in line with that quite easily.

Speaking of challenges, I wanted to apologize for my knee-jerk reaction yesterday. I think having just come from the prior vote with Mipha playing that idol and Robbie detonating the entire tribe, the game fatigue led to a moment of panic. I think my concern arose from a lack of information — we could throw and Sidon could wind up safe. Our presumptive target could have an idol, which they could use to cut us, etc. That still doesn't excuse the fact I wasn't more receptive to talking things over. That's not who I want to be as your ally, not after what we've gone through in this game. You could have just as easily said you didn't want to vote out Teebo, but you were willing to do something for the good of the trio, and so I'm sorry for not immediately being prepared to do the same. You were right: It makes sense to want to protect our allies now (we can't move forward with them if they aren't in the game). I hope you can forgive a weary Gerudo <3 This is mildly concerning. Does she have access to my confessional? Or did she get tipped off by Kohga that I genuinely wanted to throw? Hrm. It's fully possible she really looked back and saw what a coward she was being but generally in my experience, once a coward, always a coward. It's more likely she realised she was being too obvious with the cowardice and decided to try to make herself look better, since we had all likely done the challenge already at that point and the danger of actually throwing was past.
Until her actions align with her words and she actually does something bold rather than just saying she should be doing something bold, my respect for her remains at rock bottom.

It might be for the best that you didn't meet Robbie! Here's what he had to say about you: Revali is probably pretty cool given that one of my old members likes him, but Kass is evil to the core so do watch out for him and make sure to go for the throat given the opportunity (based on what I've heard + what I've gauged based on his messages, could be wrong, however that's my current intuition on him). I thought this was pretty funny. He has such faith in his ability to determine a person's merit based on their word choices. Perhaps the most insightful player in the whole game, which is especially interesting given I only made casual introductions with him. It's a shame he has already been voted out - it would have been amusing to have him screaming about just how right he was, and for him to go completely ignored, as I pushed the knife in.

The plan to throw worked more beautifully than I could possibly have imagined. I waited a while before posting my results, but tried to not wait long enough so as to arouse suspicion - I was fastest on my tribe by some margin, so I believe I accomplished that. However, I don't think it actually mattered, because Revali truly proved he was at least worthy of being a Power with that performance.
The downside to all this is the lack of ability to PM. It forces players in both tribes to initially vote three strong, because doing anything else risks eliminating yourself in a 3-2-1 for no real benefit. In a sense that's a blessing, because it forces Kohga and Urbosa to vote with me - but it's a blessing I had and have no need for, as the two of them would have voted for who I told them to vote for regardless, especially against this tribe where neither of them are particularly close to anybody. It's more of a curse, because I can't coordinate with my allies on the other side, and I can't take the opportunity to talk to Patricia about why I sent her ally (Riju) home.
I'm not too worried. I do not think Pelison would vote for me, and I think it's doubtful Patricia would. But it still irks me that I may have to negotiate with them in public on the revote in order to clarify that I'm not going to vote Kohga or Urbosa out and I want them to flip to voting Link (which is the plan right now). I do not want to make my alliances public to that degree, especially the one with Kohga.

Link is the protagonist, you say? Huh.
I have to admire the kid in a way. Going out there and saying you'll vote with the opposition, in public, after clearly pretending to your side that you were going along with them... takes a special kind of courage. The kind of courage that is a combination of an extreme sense of self-preservation and an inability to think through the consequences of your actions, but courage nonetheless.
This is perfect as far as I am concerned. I now have an extremely good excuse for voting out Pelison, so if he returns to the game, he will be angry at Link for his elimination, not at me. In addition, Pel and Pat will likely flip their votes to Link right now, so in the event of an idol being played, the likely elimination is the one I have never had much in the way of contact with. Finally, if an idol isn't played, Pat and Link will be at one anothers' throats at the merge; something I should easily be able to exploit for my own benefit.
I would very much like to blindside Link here just for the hilarity of his own vote sending him home, but I don't believe Urbosa would go for it and I don't believe it's particularly in my best interest to do either.

1. You’ve made the merge, congratulations! How does it feel to know that after all of your swaps you have finally reached this point? Does it make it feel any longer knowing you’ve only gone through 5 rounds of this game so far?! How many more rounds do you feel you have left?
2. You’ve had time to chat with most of the rest of the people in the game at this point. Is there anyone you haven’t met yet? If so, do you plan to try to reach out and see where their head is at? Either way, how do you plan to navigate this tangled web of a merge?
3. How do you feel about the new mod names and avatars? Do you think these are here to stay for the rest of the game, or are we simply trolling you? Speaking of trolling, what has been your most favorite thing so far this game that we have done?!
4. Are you shocked by the Pelison boot? If so, what did you expect to happen instead? If not, what about Pelison do you think made him an ideal target for the other 5 who attended that tribal?
5. 4 Items up for grabs here, but very cryptic names, what do you think each item does? Oh speaking of items, what’s the current gossip? Who's got items? Where have items been found? How many do you think are in the game?
6. Who are the biggest threats/goats and who do you like/dislike?
