Well, here we are, and we get to have more fun with 3 person tribes! I'm somewhat happy being in a trio with the fishes. Sidon is someone who evidently both Kass and Royal want to work with, and Mipha might be my weakest connection from the original Wisdom tribe. This could be a good opportunity to strengthen my position in the game.
I'm already doing better than how I thought I would do in this game, and that's awesome. The merge is probably soon-ish, which is super intimidating since there are so many strong players out here. We'll see how this goes.

So looking at the other 3 tribes, I don't see any particular setup that would spell disaster for me. Interestingly enough, if we lose the challenge, we are guaranteed to have 3/6 Wisdom tribe members at ANY Tribal we go to. Plus I have other allies in Kass, Royal, and Kohga.
The riskiest tribe for me is probably the Patricia/Link/Pelison tribe. I trust Pelison but my link with Link (har har) is more tentative and I don't know Patricia at all. I'd also think the Wisdom-strong thing is also more likely to hold between Mipha/Urbosa or Mipha/Epona compared to Mipha/Pelison.

In comparing this game to past games, one thing that I've noticed is that in the past I would usually have it clearly defined in my head whether I had an alliance with someone or if I didn't. In this case, it's not so clear. Strictly speaking, I am at least somewhat allied with every single person in the game other than Revali and Patricia, who are the two people I have never been on a tribe with. So... I have an alliance with basically everybody, but I also don't feel like I'm being especially manipulative or dishonest in doing so, since I expect that most everyone else is in a similar position. All these swaps are going to create a vast web of alliances to the point that it's going to be very difficult to track how this game is going to go. It's tempting to say, "Ooh, I'm allied with 9 people, so of course I'm safe!" but that's almost certainly not the case.

Could you please list the 9 people that you are allied with for security reasons to confirm your identity?

Well... sorta everyone in the game except Revali and Patricia, and throw in Oven and Robbie too, for good measure.

I'm actually somewhat considering a "Wisdom strong" mentality, and I think it might be beneficial to at least get a Wisdom majority in the game, if possible. The best way to achieve that... probably involves our team losing the next challenge. I know Pagongings are terrible and boring, but it's definitely a thought going through my head.
I do not trust Sidon, by the way. Royal had approached me about an idea of an alliance between us, Sidon, and Epona, and said that he already approached Sidon about the idea when they were all on a tribe together. I mentioned to Sidon that Royal had this offer, but Sidon is denying that he knew anything about it. So he's immediately lying to me, not sure exactly why, but that's putting him high on my watchlist so far.

So I'm kinda taking a gamble and spilling everything to Mipha. And I realized in doing that, I haven't even spilled this particular stuff in my confessional!
Basically, I know Royal and Epona were very close and it sounds like they were discussing building a very large alliance, that probably started with (at least) Sidon and Urbosa back during the Teebo vote. Epona seems to have vouched for both me and Mipha, and because I ended up on a tribe with Royal, I was brought in at that time.
In my mind, I had considered the core four as me/Royal/Epona/Sidon, but in re-reading my PMs with Royal, it sounds like many other names were considered as well, including Urbosa, Mipha, and probably Robbie and Kass. Overall, this could be a big group that could dominate the game, and Mipha and I are both kind of on the edges of where it formed - so it seems important that me and her figure out the best way to move forward.

I'm kinda having a tough time with this game and it's not fun for me right now. Nothing against the mods or the game itself, which IMO is the best designed game I've ever played on site. I guess it's just playing Survivor in general, the pressure of having to send interesting PMs every day, and the growing anxiety that everyone else is better friends with each other than they are with me. It's also getting to a point in the game where it's getting more difficult to objectively measure how well you're doing. In the early phases, if you're surviving, you're doing alright! At this point, it's possible that you're just sticking around because you're a goat or viewed as an easy vote for your alliance. And in the past, I've ended up screwing myself over because I don't want to just end up being a number 5 or 6 in a big alliance. And I guess it's very possible that's where things may end up going in this game.
I also feel a little guilty about potentially voting someone off who's probably having more fun with this than I am. But I also feel like quitting is not a good solution, and that I would regret not seeing this through. I just gotta figure out how to get my mind right and decide exactly where I want to see this game go for me.
