Okay, so a LOT has happened the past two days, and I'm only just now able to try to collect my thoughts. With work starting back up in full swing, I can definitely already feel the strain on certain relations — more on that will come in Tome 05 (Preview: It involves me flatly declining Kass' request to throw the challenge, a message I had to send while running out the door). But back to last round: What seemed to be a foregone conclusion — Revali/Link/Robbie/Me (Potentially; Heavily considered voting Robbie to save face for situations just like the one that occurred) would vote Mipha and move on — completely changed in the blink of an eye. The chance introduction of chaos, and my willingness to capitalize on said chaos, hours before Tribal Council deadline flipped the tribal dynamic on its head. It's rare that I find myself truly speechless, but when I received the following PM from Robbie, my jaw honestly dropped to my desk: Have told Mipha I am voting against her. This round and next round you will be safe, after that you will most likely die, so do make sure to find good allies post-merge (I'll help you out until you find people, as long as there are others to go against). 1. Thank you for stirring the pot enough for me to figure out how to balance keeping Revali's and Link's trust while also contending with the very real — and now confirmed — threat of Mipha having an idol. 2. Thank you for giving me just enough content from this excerpt to take the truth, embellish it, and use it to plant seeds of doubt for later down the line. I sent the following messages to Link shortly after: So interesting update: Robbie reached out finally to let me know he had submitted his vote for Mipha as planned. He then followed that up by telling me I would be allowed to stick around a round or two after merge before he and his allies killed me. "You will die" was a direct quote. You've interacted with him a bit more than I have by virtue of starting on Courage with him. Was this his normal approach? Seemed to come out of left field, as every conversation I've had with him up until this moment has been relatively pleasant. After probing further, his intended plan is to eliminate Mipha here. Regroup with Sidon and Horse. Vote you out. Vote me out. Vote out remaining Power from there. I . . . don't know if he's trolling or not. I never actually received a second PM, but I floated Sidon's and Horse's names to Link so that I could tip him off to the larger factions at play in the game. I had hoped to get a conversation going that involved bringing Link into the fold with Revali and me, but the shuffle had other plans. Still, Link now has the knowledge and, hopefully, time to ruminate on that information. The play could backfire horribly, but I still believe it is in my best interest to assemble a group of players who (1) are perceived as threats and (2) either themselves feel or are seen to be isolated from the larger factions. To bastardize "Animal Farm," all alliances in this game are equal, but it is clear that some are more equal (and considerably more dangerous) than others. With Revali at my side and Link potentially inching into our corner, I felt it best to double back to Mipha. I hoped that the drama would force her to play any items she may have, so every PM I sent feigned uncertainty (to hide my involvement in the since-scrapped elimination plan) but also positive reinforcement. By voting with her, I was banking that any and all messages I sent, though a little excessive, would ultimately find their mark: If things go south there then I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making this adventure such a positive experience for me. I realize I may lay it on too thick sometimes with the flavour or strategic talk, so I apologize for that. It's truly been an honor to fight at your side. I'm your biggest fan, so please knock out all these boys and fight your way to Final Tribal Council. <3 Do I expect Mipha to fully believe this? Not in the slightest (in fact I may be a bit disappointed if she really did), but I wanted the pretense to be there. I wanted the narrative to veer toward the positive. Riju was one of the presumptive eliminations — though I didn't voice that to anyone — so I wanted this PM to be fresh in Mipha's mind when looking for players to fill the void potentially left by Riju. Her response was more or less what I expected: Aww Urbosa haha. Look, I may have been too harsh on you in my confessional and I want to state that now XD I thought we were both grinning while holding knives the first time I met you. You are great with first impressions and extremely pleasant and as someone who also tries to not be aggressive, I didn't know what to say! I thought maybe we were too similar and would try to hurt each other somehow but I realize now I'm mistaken. I'm happy to have you as an ally and when this is over, I will gladly keep working with you until we either reach the end or a Robbie causes us to "die". This guy... is overkill. Even if he does survive this round somehow, he won't last very long with a personality like that. I must admit, I would have had fun talking with him earlier then this though as he shakes it up! Anyways, you are 100% safe, I guarantee it as Robbie is voting me and I'm voting him so... go get em tiger! I can't wait to discover the extent to which she has trashed me this game. Still, the effort was made, and I hope neither Revali nor Link intend to catch her up to speed on the initial plan for this round anytime soon.

Did Round 04 turn out exactly as I hoped it would? No. As I said in my introduction to this game, though, fortune favors the prepared mind. In a matter of hours, I:
• Solidified a bond with Revali that I intend to honor to the end of this game.
• Flushed an idol.
• Spread information about larger alliance dynamics in such a way that the blame can be pinned on Robbie.
• Reinforced my loyalties to Mipha.
• Emerged from almost certain doom on a tribe that could have easily gone 3-2 Urbosa without ever being considered as a target (or so I think).
