I don't know why Oaki feels the need to discuss his legacy advantage with anyone else though tbh. That feels like a hiccup in his planning. At least with Mipha, there was a point, albeit a somewhat weird probably terrible point. Oaki is literally just handing Sidon info for zero reason though. Its not like Sidon wasn't going to be his ally if he didn't? An idol I can get behind revealing in some situations, though tbh I would kill to have an idol that wasn't public so the fact that people throw that opportunity away makes me sad. But it can work for them. A legacy advantage though I see no upside in ever revealing. It literally gives that person an incentive to vote you out so that you'll will it to them, and they know you'll be Immune at a certain point in the future so if they do want you gone, they are able to anticipate it and make a move earlier. And unlike an idol, you aren't going to be able to ever play a legacy advantage on them without getting voted out with it. I guess it might strengthen bonds, but someone like Oaki doesn't need that to strengthen bonds. What Oaki needs is for people to be comfortable taking him deep into the game so that surprise, he has a legacy advantage and can win some clutch Immunities. And revealing the advantage actively undermines that, even if he trusts Sidon 100% right now. |
