So the Roscoe vote went off easily enough. I did not know Roscoe was voting for me but I'm not incredibly surprised, since he never tried to persuade me to vote for anybody else. Either way, 2 more people out, and one step further in the game!
Now I get to talk to all of these people at once, just my luck! Gotta love those Shipwrecks.

Okay, so the new tribe looks to be me, Pelison, Riju, Royal, and Kass. This is not exactly my ideal group, since it contains 3 people I've never met until now, but at the very least, Royal and Kass both expressed interest in working with me through our mutual connections with Epona and Urbosa, respectively. Pelison... it's hard to say where my relationship currently is with him. I could envision him being an early boot on this tribe, but he's also the ONLY person here who I have met before today. Pelison has also not met anyone on this tribe other than me, so if this 2-2-1 turns against the "Wisdom" people, and it might, then I am hopefully able to out-socialize him. I feel confident that neither Urbosa nor Epona were writing to Kass or Royal about how much they loved Pelison, since as far as I know, they were both highly considering voting him off over Karson.
It's odd that none of the people I met on the first swap will be here at all. But having all my connections spread far and wide could help me in the long run. But first I have to actually make it to the long run.

Ehh, it looks like my original strategy for this challenge was quite helpful in locating my tribemates but not so helpful in determining the other words people have. Maybe I'm just being butthurt, but I think strategy for this challenge might have been better if we knew exactly what the second part was upfront? Not really a huge deal, but I just don't see the downside of letting the players know exactly what the goal is?
Oh well, I'm also growing increasingly concerned as we enter what I'm assuming to be the second half of the pre-merge. Historically, I've not done too well at this part of the game, and going out at this point would suck - I've stuck around long enough to become invested in the game but not yet long enough to actually feel like I've had any reasonable impact or to feel particularly good about my gameplay. Shipwrecks are also not a whole lot of fun for me and I haven't had much of a chance to socialize with most of my tribe yet. And if we lose the first challenge on top of that... that's bad.

So I did tell Pelison that he was briefly a target at the first vote, and that I argued in favor of keeping him and voting Karson instead. I'm hoping this can work to establish more trust between the two of us. This tribe could go so many different ways.
Pelison thinks we can work with Riju. This wouldn't be my preference considering both Royal and Kass came to me independently speaking of mutual connections with Urbosa and Epona and said they wanted to work with me. But I will see where this goes, since you can never know who you can really trust 100%.

Ugh yesterday there were a million people online and too many to talk to. Now today I really want to figure out where I stand in this group of 5, but only me and Pelison are online. Looks like I waited way too late to come on tonight. =/
But apparently something I missed from a PM yesterday is that Royal heard from Sidon that Riju was trying to vote him off. This is very promising if true, and hopefully that's a crack that can be exploited.

Nah, I think the two of them are clearing it up. Royal apparently wants to vote Pelison. I'd... rather not? But it doesn't help me or even Pelison if I push hard on this.
I would like to be at least 3rd in this group, though I am worried that I am 4th. And with only one person getting eliminated this round, we might be stuck in these tribes for a while. I really really don't want to be a late pre-merge boot yet again.

The more I talk to Pelison the less I want to vote him off. Talking strategy with him feels easy and natural. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there's a way we can both survive, and I'm starting to realize I might be giving him too much information that he could go to the others and sell me as untrustworthy if he wanted to...

1. You've now gone through two swaps. How does this effect your alliances? What's groups do you feel strong with?
2. You've now met a lot of players, is there anyone you'd be wanting to eliminate pre-merge? Either for being a threat or because you've struggled to get on with?
3. Have you heard musings of any items or idols being possessed? If so, do you have any theories as to who might have these items or idols?
4. Who would you say is the strongest bond you have in the game currently? How do you think the swaps have effected your relationship with them?
5. What would be the craziest possible twist you could think of that could be done in a game? Do you anticipate we've already thought of this and plan to execute this plan, or is it too insane even for our standards?

1. Going through all these swaps has given me a LOT of alliances. I have at least some sort of alliance/agreement with everyone I've been on a tribe/group with, other than Riju (so far), and any of the people who I only met during the shipwreck. The problem is I don't know how strong any of these connections really are.
2. At this point, Riju would probably be my ideal target on this tribe. Seems like a big social threat but not someone who is super tight with me in particular.
3. No, I don't. And that's scary.
4. This is a really hard question. I don't really have a person who I trust 100% and unequivocally. On this tribe, the person I trust most is probably Pelison, though he would probably still throw me under the bus if it was the only way he could survive. Outside of this tribe, maybe Kohga?
5. TIME TRAVEL... and probably not, haha. But I am worried this game will have a mechanic where eliminated players will return to the game.
