Welcome adventurers! We hope your journey to Hyrule isn't filled with too much strife. Only you, the Moderators and the Spectators will see what you post here. However everyone will have access to it postgame. Feel free to share your thoughts and point of view on the game. Spectators will also ask you questions on occasion, feel free to answer them. There are no guidelines to what you can post in your confessional, though occasionally you will be required to post private individual challenge submissions here. Otherwise, the virtual sky is the limit! Roam the open fields of Hyrule and report to us your findings so that we may be part of your adventure. To get you started, here are a few questions: {1} Have you ever played Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild before? if not, do you know the basic story or have you played other Legend of Zelda games before? I have not played any Legend of Zelda games, especially not BoTW, but I know people who've played it and am vaguely familiar with the Legend of Zelda timeline from various youtube videos, enough to make references that are clearly not to Zelda but pretend they are.{2} Do you have a strategy for how you will play Survivor: Power vs Courage vs Wisdom? I mean, no specific strategy survives very long, especially in a bastard game. But general strategy is to start off by being valuable to my tribe and blitzkrieg a strong initial alliance. Atm it looks like that will be Me, Magda, Khoga, Kass and Roscoe as Patricia and Teebo are...not talking much, but that could easily change. With a majority we will only use it if we have to and go for tribal unity. If I'm more valuable to a lot of people alive, well then I'm not going to get voted out by those people. Also if I am trustworthy early on it will allow me more leeway with half truths and deceptions later in the game where the moments I have to get something to work will be few and far between.
While I want to be trustworthy and nice early on, I want to be at least a bit UTR in terms of gameplay, being seen as someone who isn't threatening and as such, doesn't need to be killed. I will be kind and a bit...odd, but at some point in the midgame I will strike, show my prowess in a move that demonstrates I am not a mere pawn, well assuming an opprotunity arises. Then I will calm down and do that again at merge and sell whatever I can at FTC. Though really I'm just gonna take it one tribe at a time.
As for the short term I do have one devious thing, though it's more for fun. You may have noticed my RNG landed on patricia before and you see I've been sure to sprinkle French language with my conversations with other people. This is because, to Patricia, my messages will only be in French, using google translate. This will: 1. Be Hilarious as they try to grapple with how to deal with that 2. Isolate them given I already have very normal conversations with everyone else so them trying to explain what I'm doing will be ridiculous and 3. If it is getting out of hand and they are distressed, I can drop it, but I have to at least try and see what they'll do with it.
{3} This theme focuses on three core areas, Challenge prowess, Social Prowess, and Strategic Prowess. Why did you choose the trait that has put you into your initial tribe? What about structural prowess tho? And uhhhh well I didn't exactly choose to be Power, I wanted to be Wisdom because I view myself as a very strategic player, but I suppose I have a very strong tendency to think mechanics and challenges through to give my team an advantage. Work smarter not harder is my motto and a team player I usually am, so while I don't see it as my primary strength, I certainly understand the decision to put me here.{4} isn't the banner beautiful?!?!?! Okay so Day 1 update.
Overall I think everything is going fine. I've spoken a lot with Magda today and oh boy are they lovely. They certainly know their way around a PM but I think is beginning to wind down. Still we talked the most early on so they'll definitely be a useful ally for me as they've already entered basic "yo let's talk about the tribe stuff" and seems inclined to work with me.
I'm shockingly getting along really well with Khoga, this is shocking since they're gimmicking a lot and trying to blend that with like actual info, but I like them quite a lot, they're fun and well actually know things about Akira Kurosawa and might check out some of the podcasts I've reccomended to them.
The two people I most want to make it out of here with are actually two people I've talked two less than Khoga or Magda. Roscoe is a bit gamebotty, they literally opened on his failed idol hunt but honestly has been a dear in discussion their interests in videos game (DR is a common interest and I got a reccomendation to play Long Live the Queen) and I feel we'll communicate really well in challenges. Kass is a fellow bird and as such we already have a connection there, but also loves Brian David GIlbert and I got to introduce them to his personal channel and mmmmmm, it's gonna be a great time tomorrow.
Teebo is a precious cinnamon roll, they say they're new to the game and their PM length is short but like, I do enjoy them quite a bit even if they haven't quite...connected with me. I don't think they're the primary target if we go to tribal.
Meanwhile neither Patricia nor I has messaged the other. Should I message them, sure....but at the same time they are marked for a faceful of french so it feels a bit...odd to be the one initiating that, and the less I talk to them, the easier it is to vote for them if we go to tribal. Not to mention when they left earlier in the day they never came back but found like...25ish rupees in the meantime. Like they definitely had some time to talk and that annoys me.
Also mods I'd like to thank you for this rupees mechanic. Even if it's useless it's a fun thing to be able to connect about (as a lot of info sharing has gone on with how to get them and your fake idol hunts) so that has made it a relatively easy Day 1, but tomorrow there will be an actual challenge and Roscoe will be not very talkative (they have an exam apparently) so we will see where it leads. At the moment I'm still in 1st gear and want to be able to stay that way.

Who reads like a threat, and who reads like a weakling?Okay so Kass is my number one, I haven't exactly told them that, only asked them to Marry me cause oh god do they have such great overlap with me and my interests, so much I fear they may be a mod controlled character made to mess with us. I want to go far with them, if not just to the end.
Roscoe is a lovely Sphere who has given me an amazing set of game reccomendations and is overall very sweet. Our conversations have been great and they seem decently loyal, but I have no illusions that they came here to play, one of the first things they did was look for an idol and I feel they only told me that it didn't work out to find out if I had it, and because well...they failed.
Magda has a lot of content with me and I feel good about them. I feel I can be straight with them about the game but I don't adore them like I do with Kass and Roscoe. They seem to have a few prickles around the edges and the conversation has slowed, but certainly is a servicable ally.
King Khogalion is interesting. They're holding to their gimmick but evolving gameplay and other things as they pepper in their interests. They're bound to be a force on this tribe and I think I need to hard ally them to make my time here easy. However, on a swap tribe where I'm in the minority I will drop them sooo fucking fast they'll hit the floor before you can say "Wait are you sure that's a good idea?" They need to be killed either premerge or early merge or they will probably end up being sooo disruptive to my end game plans.
Teebo is learning. They tried to gimmick early but learned that that limits their options in conversation and are trying to connect about strategy games and the like. I find them very nice and would much sooner vote out Khoga or Magda over them.
Patricia I finally sent a Pm to...in French, but have yet to send a reply. They are likely to be the person I most want to boot first.

What sort would be the worst possible for you?Most obvious is redemption twists, bastard challenges are expected but not sure what form they'll take. Any twist that gives power to a single individual I am not going to like, as I dislike having to deal with individual think over group think, which reminds me...I need to start up an alliance shortly. 4) What is the way you want to be perceived in this game? Which would you least like to be described as?I mean in all games I primarily try to be perceived as trustworthy and helpful. It is what I build my early game strategy on, being loyal to my allies. If you are perceived well early on but in a supporting role, people will overlook you later and that should give me the wiggle room I need to pull out a knife and stab the people I need to without looking like too obvious a threat.
I least want to be described as threatening or "suspicious" so hopefully I don't come off as too nice in conversaiton, I'm just trying to be friendly after all and I love my tribemates for the most part. 5) Summarize your game strategy in a gif. 6) What is your favourite rocks fact?Fact: Rocks are mammals. Okay so good news, I think. It seems Teebo and Patricia have talked things out but god damn, this is gonna be a delicate situation. Apparently I am the person who everyone likes but I've heard several different names: Teebo, Patricia and even Roscoe.
To be fair Patricia is the main name going around and atm I am fine with that but it is very subject to change (they are talking to me and like, just because someone got a late start does not mean it is bad to have them on my tribe). I like Teebo quite a bit and feel they won't try anything too rash and well...I'm always up for a mentorship role. Magda mentioned not getting along with Roscoe (which I have not shared with Roscoe) and them being a potential alternative in a world where Patricia wins immunity. I squashed that quickly but it will come up at a later point I'm sure.
Overally, my goal is to keep the tribe unified, and it seems everyone is looking to me for guidance, which on one hand is great, since that means I'm unlikely to be targeted, but on the other hand, sucks, because it means that whatever happens it is very possible that I could have prevented it, and as such the person's blood is on my hands, regardless of if I want it to be. Also, with arrows pointing not just between Patty and Teebo, but Magda and Roscoe, this tribe is a powder keg, and at the moment I'm lucky none of the cannons are pointed at me. We'll survive this vote, but a second tribal is not something I want to see us face, one test is enough for me.

This is a very interesting game for me. I'm used to well...flying below the radar in games and yet in this game I seem to be distinctly in the spotlight. Winning immunity is certainly something I didn't expect in this way and I apparently am a very "social" player on this tribe (though I suspect that may be because there's literally a tribe full of "social threats" and this is not that one). I do hope that I haven't angered anyone with how I've played this tribal as I've both made it clear that I want to vote for Patricia but am open to changing my mind. However, roscoe likes patricia and I have gotten some weird vibes from Khoga. Anyway post challenge Magda, Kass and Roscoe all claimed times of 2:32, 2:04 and 2:08 respectively (or something around there) and said they went for immunity (except for Roscoe). Patricia hasn't spoken to me. Though, I don't blame her, she probably thinks I am the reason that she is going home and in a way that's true ( but their grave was dug before I even said a word). Unfortunately, and barring a lot of good messages tonight, they will likely be dying. Teebo said they "did worse than Magda" and if they are actually a newbie I'd certainly believe it. 2:30 is a really good time on something if you aren't optimizing literally everything about your run. What is interesting is Khoga claimed they went for the advantage but didn't get it, but...also didn't give a time, which is suspicious af (they've also been wigging me out lately for reasons I'll get to later). Anyway, Roscoe seems to be Patty's biggest fan due to seal puns and the like so I'll likely need to make sure they feel protected (they aren't super in my crosshairs atm but if I think they don't like me anymore I will not hesitate to cut them). Anyway time for both a PM Count update (as of an hour ago) and my uh..."trust rankings" they will be tiered: PM count update:  And Trust Tiers: Top Tier (Trust them a ridiculous amount): Magda - Magda and I actually did a play by play of everyone on the tribe and have seemed to be commited since early on. Not to mention they immediately claimed a time today. They're definitely someone I value the input of and they don't strike me as sketchy at all, so like I'm definitely gonna try and have a hard alliance with them and some others. Kass - Kass continues to be my sweetheart and I trust them more and more with every moment. I should be careful to not let too much loose with them as my enjoyment of their presence may blind me to any moves they make behind the scenes, but I very much want to go forward with them. If possible I want them to join Magda and me in our alliance. Mid Tier - Trust them but am wary of them Teebo - Teebo is nice and definitely needs a mentor in this game. Our conversations have gotten a little stale though and I do hope to reinvigorate them, however we aren't super close in terms of discussing the game beyond this vote. I think they'll be loyal in a swap but can't be sure. Roscoe - Roscoe is here because they both do sketchy things (like immediately idol searching and claiming they went for advantage) but like immediately tell me they did said things in a matter of fact way. They are playing hard, and also like Patty so they might not trust me all that much, but I do want to work with them and enjoy our video game conversations greatly. Bottom Tie (Low to No Trust) Khoga - Khoga has earned 3 strikes against them in terms of their early gameplay. I liked them at first but they are not a stupid player, and as not a stupid player they are trying to keep themselves out of the spotlight, this is fine but not when I seem to be their shield. The first strike is apparently they told Patricia that I was very popular and they were on the outs because they hadn't talked to me, which I think was meant to make me their target if they had an idol (at least the speculated they'd target me and warned me of it). Second is this quote from them, "I think my response, after some deliberation which I've now done and concluded I still would like to vote Patricia at this time, is going to be themed around wanting to keep you happy, even though that's somewhat of an excuse for what I'd prefer to do anyway." The hedginess is fine but...dude, I am not here to be your shield, if you want the vote to go that way, don't hide behind "Revali's wants that so I'm gonna go there", cause fun fact I DON'T WANT TO RUN THE TRIBE SO DON'T MAKE IT SEEM LIKE I DO. If I was very heavy on a Patty vote, sure, go ahead, it's accurate, but don't bend the truth like that, it's sketchy af. I did tell them to stop and it seems they oblidged but I am not very happy with them. Third is the advantage thing, mainly because Roscoe's time claim is incredibly risky unless they advantage and well one of Khoga or Roscoe probably has it since I believe Magda couldn't have won it with their time and Kass probably would tell me if they got it, Patty had to have gone for immunity and Teebo probably didn't fare that well. So like...Khoga probably has the advantage and was even hedgier in their explanation of the challenge. I want them gone, but unfortunately trying to use all my sway to take them out in the FIRST TRIBAL just makes me into an even bigger target than I already am, at least unless someone else gives that route a try first. Patricia - Look I don't think they trust me, they have no reason to trust me, and probably see me as a vote against them. If they come back I'll try and make it up but...I really can't trust them right now. anyway, byeeee |

Oh fun, I was completely left out of the first vote. That's dissapointing and I'm very curious who is gonna read me in on this or whether they're just gonna....not do anything. I presume this was a move to "weaken me" as I was definitely on good terms with Magda. Also I feel much more confident in my decision to go for immunity.
