Welcome adventurers! We hope your journey to Hyrule isn't filled with too much strife.
Only you, the Moderators and the Spectators will see what you post here. However everyone will have access to it postgame. Feel free to share your thoughts and point of view on the game. Spectators will also ask you questions on occasion, feel free to answer them. There are no guidelines to what you can post in your confessional, though occasionally you will be required to post private individual challenge submissions here. Otherwise, the virtual sky is the limit! Roam the open fields of Hyrule and report to us your findings so that we may be part of your adventure.
To get you started, here are a few questions:
{1} Have you ever played Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild before? If not, do you know the basic story or have you played other Legend of Zelda games before?
{2} Do you have a strategy for how you will play Survivor: Power vs Courage vs Wisdom?
{3} This theme focuses on three core areas, Challenge prowess, Social Prowess, and Strategic Prowess. Why did you choose the trait that has put you into your initial tribe?
{4} Isn't the banner beautiful?!?!?!

{1} I haven't played BotW before, though I have played Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Skyward Sword. I've played at least parts of the NES games, too. Now that I know I'm in, I will be availing myself of a plot summary so I know what kind of theme to expect. {2} I chose five children from the cast page. Teebo appealed to me because he looks a little lonely and bookish, traits which I plan to exploit. This is my first LSG, so I will be growing up as the game goes on. In the early game, I will trade on my naivete to avoid notice and make friends. In the midgame, I will use that unassuming nature to quietly build on that foundation. In the late game, I will "grow up" and leverage any remaining allies as best I can. Strategically, I intend to be loyal and honest. I don't see the advantage to betraying people until the moment of maximum advantage - deceit only works if you're trustworthy. {3} I actually chose Wisdom. I assume there was a critical mass of Wisdom-choosers and I was overflow. I will be happy to take advantage of any assumptions that was made. I'm currently debating whether to out that I didn't choose this tribe. {4} Lovely!

That looks like a two letter word, a four letter word, and a five letter word.
Assuming the first word is "we", I have oscoupmhr remaining, I have three vowels and six consonants. oou/scpmhr
Four letter words which occur to me from that list: soup chop rump ouch poor much hour rush shop such pour

Tried isolating a few other two-letter words. Up and Or and Me didn't give me much to work with, but as soon as I isolated So, Much from the earlier exercise jumped out, and at that point it was easy. Made sense for the tribe, too!

I need to step up my game. Roscoe told me it was a fake idol hunt four hours ago.

Really the only part that tripped me up was the crossword, and most because I lacked familiarity with the source. I lost a lot of time by trying to solve while doing stuff around the house. Message received - I need to dedicate time to this if I'm going to be fast. Magda and I traded a few crossword answers, but she's definitely behind me. Roscoe's a threat.

~*Impa's Inquiries*~
Greetings young one, it is that time in this phase where I, Impa, come and invade your confessional with a series of questions aimed to get to know you and the state of the game without having to actually read more than the reply to this post to find out those answers! So please, be honest. I promise I have no nefarious plans for you or your answers, and that I handcrafted this questionnaire solely for you and definitely didn't copy-paste it to every player in the game.
1) You've had some time to get to know your fellow adventurers, tell me about them. Who all do you like? Who don't you like? Who reads like a threat, and who reads like a weakling?
2) Best one-liner you've sent or received in a PM so far?
3) What kind of twists are you hoping or expecting to see? What sort would be the worst possible for you?
4) What is the way you want to be perceived in this game? Which would you least like to be described as?
5) Summarize your game strategy in a gif.
6) What is your favourite rocks fact?
Thank you for your time, I'll be in touch if I don't die of old age and boredom between now and then.

Hi Impa!
1) Here is a detailed report about where I stand with my tribemates. 2) "I can tell dad jokes too. When is the dentist's favorite time of day? Tooth-hurty!" - Roscoe 3) I don't really have much opinion on twists yet. I've only ever been a spectator in the past, so I haven't lived through any. I'm dreaded tribe swaps, though. I think I would be in a secure position within my tribe for as long as I need, but being randed into a new group with pre-existing relationships is fraught. 4) I'm going for likeable but business-like. I'm here to play, but not to dominate. The worst thing I can be perceived as is too thirsty or eager to betray - I would rather be disliked than feared. 5) I'll give you two: I'm not the most naturally-likeable guy, but I have charm and skill if given some space to grow. One of those skills I can lean on is the ability to juggle multiple threads and strategies at once. Forming a core group while managing cordial relationships with other tribemates and remaining focused on the objectives plays to those skills. 6) Stone and rock are not synonymous. Rock is a general term for the substance as a whole, while stone is more properly used in a finite context. You pick up a stone, or carve a stone figure, but you scale a rock face or tunnel through rock.
