This is something discussed pre-game as mods
If any of the extension items were played at the exact same time then only 24 hours is added, if they are played in response to a different item extending the 24 hours then an extra 24 hours gets added.
Urbosa is doing it this way because she want's to base her Ice Arrow target on what item she gets.
The point in the added 24 hours is that it can change what players are wanting to do with their items/votes

I thought it just reset it from the time it took effect, so like if Urbosa played it right now it would extend the clock 24 hours from now. But I guess I get why you want to keep things consistent with deadlines

The point in the added 24 hours is that it can change what players are wanting to do with their items/votes i think the point being made is not so much that the deadline is extended (which is rational) but that the item only executes at the end of the current deadline, which means as saas says, there are now 22 dead hours to run down before the extension |

And in a way it will be fun to see the players get annoyed twice by extensions if it does happen, because they will be pissed

As much as it'd be great to put the item into action as soon as it's played.
The original intention behind the item is that it can be played in response to how players are voting (especially the Ice Arrow) Like it's to be used to save someone/yourself from the vote, or to block someone from voting/playing items to help the vote

Before any updates, we need to share something hilarious with you
The last challenge was essentially a mix between FF and Pointless, one of the questions was to name the most entertaining spectator and there was a specification in which the named spectator must be someone who has logged on at some point during the game, an incorrect answer makes a player lose a lot of points
Prince Sidon gave you Zuna Kai as their answer for pointless and therefore they lost a load of points because you hadn't logged in yet.....IF you had logged in about 5 hours ago then they would've gotten a pointless answer xD (wouldn't have made a difference to immunity winning but it's still very funny)
