Episode 12: Birb Wars VII: The Final Chapter

Okay so Sidon seems really commited to getting to the end with me and agrees the Oaki vote was bad. Now I can't go to the end with Sidon but I mean, if I can put an idea in his head I might be able to argue that I am the stronger of us two (or more likely send him to the jury).

I now have a potentially scary idea. There's 4 wisdom in play, I always count original tribes and they make up a majority if someone goes here.

I could try and cut Mipha here but they aren't that crafty, just lovable and workable. They need allies. They also know that Sidon/Kass/Epona need to go before the end (even if they like Sidon and Epona). Oven has the nuillifier, they can't go. Urbosa is my boo and someone I can beat at the end.


This leaves, a very very dangerous cut. Epona. Epona got what they wanted so far, they didn't even do what I wanted back when Kass was an option. Epona wins the game if they get to the end and while I love them to pieces and I could be throwing away my safety net to work with Sidon, the best player in the game....It avoids that, gets out Epona at a time when they wouldn't expect it and leaves enough room for a Kass blinside at F6 or F7.

However this only works if I bring Sidon to the spot of targeting the top here with his double vote (we may need it) and have his onside the rest of the way. Sidon is great and I'm nervous that I may have to rely on them here, but they literally saved my life before. They have done as much as possible to keep me safe and talk things out and while I have to kill them before the end (or be very very prepared to make arguments where the receipts are in our conversations and thus, gonna be hard to do with him up there with me) they are likely my path forward.

Also I have no idea how those challenge pairs were made. If I did that'd be a great insight on the game, UGH....

So lets see, no idea what to do, a password score that is okay but likely loses to any team that has good synergy and two allies of mine want to kill the other which may force me to put myself in a minority compared to the players I can't be or a minority with the players I can beat. Oh such a fun fun game, yes, so fun indeed.

Ugh....survival is the most important thing here, but...I might have to just cut Oven in order to survive. Trying to kill Epona will result in my death, losing the nullifier will make F6 or F5 very bad (maybe both) and even if I do live....what are my end game chances. Survival is key though, if I live maybe aI can spin this as me coming up from the bottom.

Saas’ Saasy Solicitations

Hello there again old friend! I’ve been a lazy Saas recently and have been neglecting my regular solicitations, but no more! I shall know your thoughts, and you shall tell me them.

1. Right now, we’re at final 8 and endgame is swiftly approaching. Who do you think needs to be sitting next to you in the final 2 or 3 in order for you to have a chance to win? Who do you think you definitely cannot be sitting next to, and who are you iffy about?

2. Post a tentative bootlist for the rest of the game. For each round, please include a brief description of what steps you need to take for that person to be eliminated at that time.

3. What alliances or deals do you think exist between the other players, and are any of these concerning to you? How will you play around them or to use them to your advantage?

4. At this point in time, if you lose the game, why do you think that will be? What are the biggest obstacles that stand in the way of you reigning victorious, both in the short-term and the long-term? What are you going to do to overcome them?

5. Based on your game so far, do you think the specs are rooting for you or rooting against you? Why? What moves do you think the specs want you to make, and are these moves you actually plan on making? Why or why not? How much do you think the specs are enjoying this game relative to other games?

Congratulations on making it this far, but don’t worry. There are plenty more opportunities to fail in spectacular fashion.

Or they're killing me and everyone is just feeding me oven. I don't want to believe that though. Whatever, I tried to play too many sides and was relatively uncommited at each point, combine that with almost no items and yeah, I get it if I go here. It's probably better for Urbosa too, though I suppose if they can idol out Sidon it's also a major play.

Well Mipha just pulled back so my plan is just...let Oven die. Maybe I can swing Urbosa back to taking a swipe at Kass and moving Sidon on board (maybe pulling in his double vote) and I'd give it a lot of thought if I was around tomorrow, but it may be time to just, accept this rather bad situation, cut the ally who will get me targeted next round if I don't cut them and try to scramble to the end. Sigh...I'll see what Urbosa says tomorrow but I...got nothing much left to do. I tried and I'll give one more effort whenever I'm free tomorrow but yeah...I'm done.
